SON OF ZEUS

I AM STUNNED, LITERALLY

Hey, I am Mason Smith A.K.A Son Of Zeus. And yes I'm a Superhero, and like every hero, I have a backstory myself. So I'm a 14-year-old, and one day I was playing 'Hide and Seek' with my little cousins. So as a person who takes games seriously, I went full-on pro mode. I was hiding near an electricity plant.

Nobody found me for almost 1 hour. So, I stood up and mistakenly pushed a lever. I heard a lot of creaking voices and suddenly the alarm rang. It was a very loud and shrill voice. I saw people from inside running outside, so I ran after them. 2 seconds later there was an explosion, an electric explosion where I was standing. "I love you, mom!" I screamed.

I woke up in a very fancy bed with all buttons and stuff next to me and a T.V in front of my bed. "Is this Heaven?" I asked aloud. "You're in Toronto Western Hospital", "You're God? I thought God was Beautiful!" I said "Hey! I'm a nurse. And some respect please." She said. "Oh! sorry. Why am I here though?" I asked. "You were found near the Electric plant. Why did you go there?" When she asked that, I started remembering everything. I couldn't tell her I was playing 'Hide and Seek' "I was lost." I replied.

"YOU ARE A MIRACLE!" The doctor said running inside. "Why Thank you!" I said. "Step back please." He told the nurse. And he started taking my blood. He held the syringe towards the light so he could see clearly, it was not completely filled. The blood inside was moving around vigorously, like it was boiling. Before I knew it, the syringe burst with a spark of electricity, and all the lights went off. After some time the doctor appeared in front of me with a torch "You are a MIRACLE!" He screamed, again.

As I was going home, many people were staring at me. I didn't know why, when I got home I saw mom and dad sitting there worried. After they saw me, they ran to me and hugged me "Where were you?" They asked. "I died, I think," I replied. After some time of hugging, they jumped away from me like they were electrocuted. "OW!" dad said rubbing his arms. "Look at you!" mom said.

I ran to the mirror and saw myself glowing blue like an aura was coated around me. I looked closer in the mirror and saw electricity sparking in my eyes. Now, if you're wondering how I got the name The Son Of Zeus. It happened because I was saving my town from villains with the help of my electricity skills. The landlord had recently returned from his trip to Greece, so after he learned about the Greek gods, he named me The Son Of Zeus.
