I AM A HERO

          2 years later

Now I am 16 years old and still have my old powers. I got my license and I take my mom to the shops to get groceries. At least my powers didn't go to waste, I charge my and my parent's phone with my hand, whenever the current is cut, I go to the generator and just electrocute it with my finger. Life is going good, yesterday I had gone to school and saw Joseph, he wasn't happy to meet me, he was still a hero catching robbers, solving thefts, etc. etc. He had Sarah, Adam, Sophia, and Alex with him, He won't be needing me, he shouldn't be needing me.

So I told my parents that I saw him, "Go meet him!" They said, "Okay fine," I said and left. It had been so many days since I came here, I was about to ring the doorbell when I heard a scream from inside, "I'm Leaving!" it was a girl, the door burst open and I fell back, "Oh my god! Is that you!" she said, "Yeah, if you think I'm Mason, then yes. Have we met before?" I asked, "I don't look that different, do I?" She asked, "It's me, Sarah!" She said helping me get up. 

"Hey! How are you?" I asked-after I asked that she frowned, "I missed you, dork!" She said punching me on my shoulder then hugging me. We hugged for a second, then she jumped away from me as if touching me was a crime, "Right, I'm supposed to go, BYE!" She said and ran away. "MASON!" Someone screamed at me from inside the house, I looked, it was Joseph "Go away from here!" he scowled, "Hey, dude chill!" I said, "You left us, now stay away from us!" he said, "Yo, what happened to you?!" I asked as I stepped inside the house, "Don't you dare get inside!" he said, I got inside and got a clear look of his face, he was crying. 

He ran to me and hugged me, "Hey it's alright buddy, I'm here" I said, "Hey what's all that noi-Mason!" Sophia came from the basement, "Guys, it's Mason!" She called out to the others. Alex and Adam came from inside, Joseph punched me, Sophia punched me, before Adam could punch me, I stopped him, "Woah there big guy! Touching me is fine, please?" "Haha," he said and pushed me, I stumbled back and fell, "Dude!" I screamed, everyone started laughing. Alex offered me a hand, "So what brings you here?" he asked, "Nothing, just wanted to meet my old friends-" "Hey, we're still friends," Joseph said, "Yeah sorry," I said, "Come inside!" Alex Gestured to me.

"So, what happened to Sarah?" I asked, "Oh, she went shopping, we just didn't allow her, but she became stubborn and left," Joseph said, "ah, well anyways, I'll be leaving now," "Wait, you're not joining back with us?" he asked, "Nah, BYE!" I said and left. After I got home, I looked out the window to enjoy the sunset, when an earthquake struck, I looked far and saw smoke rising from somewhere in town, and a figure flew to the top of the smoke and threw flames off his hands. I waited for some time to see if the others would go, but no one went. I opened my wardrobe and put on my outfit, "Still fits!" I muttered to myself, quite impressed. I opened the window ready to fly "I am a hero," I muttered to myself and flew.
