Throughout the entire lesson this new kid proved to be a distraction.
He would stare straight at me and when I questioned why he'd just laugh and look away. He may be handsome but I really don't think I could put up with anymore of him.

As the bell rang I picked up my stuff ready to leave when all of a sudden someone called my name
"What?" I asked in annoyance as Changkyun looked at me.

"So Flor, since I'm new around here would you mind showing me around after school?" He asked

My mind began to race, do I really want to spend anymore time with this guy?
He looked around impatiently anticipating an answer, he was about to pick up his stuff and leave

"Nevermind it's okay-"
"Wait!" I interrupted
He looked at me seemingly confused
"Is that a yes?" He asked, his dark eyes piercing into my soul as he calmly smirked, less impatient than before.
"Sure but-"
"See you later" he responded before I could finish my sentence.

The rest of my classes seemed to go by slower, my brain kept drifting.

"Hello?"
"Earth to Flor."
"Flor!" Alice yelled
"What's going on" I responded confused
"Are you okay? All day your mind has been somewhere else" She asked
"No I'm fine" I responded and as I did, there he was walking towards my table.

"Hey Flor" Changkyun said sitting right across from me
"Hi Changkyun" I responded rather uninterested
"Call me Kyun" he said smiling at me, I think that's the first time I've ever seen him not smirk.
"Alright, Alice meet Kyun, Kyun meet Alice" I said
"Hi nice to meet you-" Alice said but almost immediately got cut off

I looked to my left only to see Caden approaching me.

He was a "friend" of mine but only ever seemed to be around when I was with Alice.

He had short blonde hair and green eyes paired with a muscular body and an obnoxious smile.

"Hi Allie" he said sitting next to her
Her face visibly shifting in mood

[Alice POV]

"Hi Caden" I said rather emptily

I really hate Caden i don't know why he can't just leave me alone
He moved closer to me placing his hand on my thigh, I pushed it away maintaining my distance. He brushed his hand through my long brown hair as he moved closer and closer.

"Hey, leave her alone" Changkyun said his eyes darting at him with the most intimidating stare. "She's clearly uncomfortable" he said not breaking his stare

Caden lifted his hands and rolled his eyes moving further from me.

In the corner of the room was Mila García, the most beautiful girl in the school if you ask me she's in the grade above me but I take advanced English so I sit behind her. She's incredible.

"I'm going to the bathroom" I said awkwardly glancing at the floor

As I entered the bathroom Mila was leaning against the wall,
"Hey" I said
"Hey" she responded in the most calming voice

As I stared in the mirror I looked back at her, no way she could ever like me. I have a single double eyelid instead of two, the waves in my hair aren't as defined as they could be and most importantly She's straight and everyone thinks I am too.

[Flor's POV]

While Alice was in the bathroom Kyun continued to argue with Caden

"You should really learn how to respect boundaries" he said running his hands through his hair seemingly frustrated
Caden decided to snap back"I don't know who you are but-"
"Thats enough," I said interrupting their argument
"Caden I think you should leave" I said to him
He picked up his lunch and left
Kyun looked at me and chuckled
"What's so funny?" I asked
"Nothing you're just cute" he responded
