(Mia's POV)

After Maria hops upstairs Brian starts up another conversation. " She's a little firecracker huh?" Brian asks. I turn to him. " Oh totally and no Dom didn't teach her the birds and the bee's Hector did, that's one of the reasons she doesn't go to races anymore." I say while chuckling. Brian looks curious. " What's the other reason?" He asks with a curious look on his face. " Well the other reason is that it's dangerous for her, she is only seven and if she get's too involved she could get hurt very badly." Brian nods. " So you do this to keep her safe." I nod. " He really loves you guys huh." Brian states. I smile a bit and nod my head. " He really does." I say with a smile.    " Y'know my brother likes you, and he usually doesn't like anybody." " He's a complicated guy." Brian says. I turn to him. " Yeah? What about you?" I question him.  " I'm simpler." He replies. I scoff which is mixed with a chuckle. " You're a shitty liar." I laugh. "Well, I'll take that as a compliment." He says. " Well there's a problem." I say. "What's that?" He questions. " 

You need to get some sleep. And you definitely, definitely need a shower. Come on. I'll take you home." I say grabbing my keys.  Brian laughs and follows me to my car.

( Maria's POV)

I was abruptly awoken by the sound of a car engine, I looked out the window and I saw Brian and Mia go into her car, I smiled knowing that romance was bound to bloom between those two. I went back to sleep for the whole night.

( Time Skip)

My family and I were in the garage, I was sat on the ground building a model of a Dodge Charger. "Dom, I don't know what to do with it." Jesse says.  "All right, what the hell is this?" I look at Dom giving him a warning glance. He notices and nods.  "What do you got there?" Leon says as he looks at the car being towed in by Brian. "This is your car."  Brian says with a smile on his face. Dom smiles slightly. " My car? I said a 10-second car, not a 10-minute car." Dom says with a grin on his face. " You push this across the finish line, or tow it." Jesse says with a small walk around of the car. " You couldn't even tow that across the finish line." Letty says. Brian with his smile still on his face. " No faith." He says. I look at Dom with a bit of a smile on my face, he looks at me with a bit of one on his face as well. " I have faith in you, but this isn't a junkyard. This is a garage." Dom states going towards the car. " Pop the hood." Dom looks at him questioning. " Pop the hood?" "Pop the hood." Brian confirms. " He pops the hood and we all look. " 2JZ engine." I say with a gape in my mouth. Everyone looks at me shocked but Dom looks at me proud. " No shit!" Jesse exclaims. I shrug my shoulders giving up, my family won't stop cussing which is alright I guess. " And what did I tell you?" Brian says with a smug smirk on his face. "  I retract my previous statement." Dom says looking at the car impressed. Jesse decides to speak up. "  You know what? This will decimate all after you put about $15,000 in it. Or more, if we have to overnight parts from Japan." Jesse says trailing off. "We'll put it on my tab at Harry's." Dom says. "Yes!" Jesse cheers as he stalks off. I walk back to building my model of the charger. 

(Time Skip)

I was playing in the backyard while Mia and the rest of the family were cooking. I see Brian walk in and I go over to him and hug him. " Hey Brian!" I say with a toothy grin. " Hey Maria." He says returning the hug. I smile again and I run back to play in the backyard. " I'm outta here." I hear Vince say as he walks back to his car. " Come on, dog." Leon exclaims. " Yo, Dom!" Leon exclaims to Dom. " Vince, get over here and give us a hand." Dom says to Vince as Vince walks off. " Looks like you got all the help you need, brother." Vince says as he goes into his car and drives off. I go to Letty. " He's gonna be back, he's always hungry." I tell her as she laughs at my statement.  " Mia! The chicken's dry." Dom exclaims. "  All right. I'm coming out already." Mia laughs as she comes outside. " Hey, hold up." Dom says as Jesse tries to reach for the chicken. " Because you were the first to reach in to get the chicken, you say grace." Dom states. " Dear heavenly..." Jesse pauses confused as to what to say next. " Spirit." Leon says helping Jesse out. " Spirit. you. Thank you for providing us with a port nitrous injection.....four core intercoolers

and ball-bearing turbos....and titanium valve springs." Jesse says. "Thank you." " Amen" A chorus of amen's went around as we started to grab our food. " He was praying to the car gods, man." Letty says with a smirk.  We grab food and put it on our plates I needed help from Brian and when he got my food I noticed Dom smiling at us. " Look who it is. "Old Coyotes 'R' Us." Leon says as Vince walks into the backyard. " I thought you weren't hungry, pumpkin." Letty says looking at Vince with a smirk. Vince rolls his eyes at the comments. " You know I gotta eat." He says as he sits across from me. " Hey Vince!" I say with my toothy grin, Vince manages to smile back but the smile turns into a glare directed at Brian. Vince takes Brian's beer and takes a sip. I giggle at this. We finish dinner and we are sat in the living room watching a movie. Dom and Letty are doing the birds and the bee's again, so I'm not going upstairs. I'm sat upside down on the couch and I'm giggling at myself while Leon, Jesse, and Vince laugh at me. Brian goes into the kitchen which is where Mia is. " Vince can you get us more popcorn please?" I ask Vince with my puppy dog eyes. Vince laughs and he grabs the bowl and heads to the kitchen. Leon tells a joke and I fall off the couch which makes me laugh harder and makes the rest of the guys laugh. " Hey where's the popcorn?" Leon asks as Vince storms past us. " Make your own damn popcorn!" Vince exclaims as he walks out of the house. The guys look at me. " You guys sear too much and I have just lost count." They shrug and we just keep watching the movie.
