One Last Chapter

Chapter 13 : A Talk

Dabi enter the room where Rei was being kept.

He had a cup of cold water.

He saw Rei on the bed with her hands together and her face on it.

He got closer and tried to give her the cup.

She flinch when he got close.

"I'm not going to hurt, you mom," said Dabi.

Rei looked up and got up and look Dabi in the eyes.

"Toya," said Rei.

"Yeah mom, it's me," said Dabi.

"You're alive, I can't believe this," said Rei.

"I know when you see me, you see that monster, even though I definitely know you see a monster," said Dabi.

Rei put her hand on Dabi and began to cry.

Then she hugged him. Dabi hugs her back.

"I thought you were dead, your father even blames himself," said Rei.

Dabi stops hugging her.

"Are you giving him a second chance," asked Dabi.

"Your father is trying to become a better person," answered Rei.

"I will believe it when I see it," said Dabi.

"For real, Toya," said Rei.

"He caused you so much pain," said Dabi.

Rei started remembering.

FLASHBACK

Shoto is on the floor throwing up. With Enji standing in front of him.

"Stand up, if you get hurt that easily, you can forget about beating All Might or even a small time villian," said Enji angrily.

Rei steps in front of Shoto.

"Please stop pushing him, he's only 5 years old," said Rei very worried.

"He can take it, get out of my way," said Enji angrily.

Then Enji hits Rei.

END FLASHBACK

"And even the time, you throw boiling water on Shoto's face," said Dabi.

Rei starts remembering again.

FLASHBACK

Rei is talking to someone on the phone.

"I can't take it anymore. Everyday the children look even more like him, and Shoto that child's left side looks unbearable to me. I want to run away from this life," said Rei.

"Mama," said Shoto, coming up behid her.

Rei grabs the hot kettle and pour the hot water on on him.

END FLASHBACK

Rei starts to cry.

"You know I'm right," said Dabi.

"Toya, if you looked into his eyes, you will believe me, but that doesn't matter right now. The important thing is that you're alive, " said Rei.

"I missed you too, mom," said Dabi.

And through the whole time they talked.

They told each other about what happened in their life and what they did.
