A/N: This is an idea that I think would make a good fanfiction. I may write it in the future, but right now my hands are full. Even if I did I would have to refresh myself on a handful of animes. So, as of now, and for likely quite a long time, it is merely a one shot. Regardless, I hope you enjoy it.

Some say promises are made to be broken. Unfortunately, the people who say so, are often proven correct. In some cases, no matter how hard someone tries, they fail to keep a promise.
Let's start a hypothetical. Let's say that, you have failed to keep a promise. What would you do? Would you give up on that promise, simply because it is broken? Or, would you try to fix what you have broken?
The former...?
The latter....?
Now let's say that the promise you failed to keep, was to survive. To stay alive. And, as the promise would indicate, the reason you have failed said promise, was by dying?
Much harder to answer, considering the nature of the question. How could you try to fix a broken promise when you have died? There is no simple answer. However, I put forward the question because it is what you are about to observe.
You see, my friend. Four people, four young men, have failed said promise. To stay alive. Now they didn't exactly phrase it in the exact way as each other, but the purpose was the same. To survive. A promise of which they have all made and failed miserably.
One made it to a champion.
One to a princess.
One to an assassin.
And one... to a king.
Now, even though they have all embraced the cold hands of death, they have all been granted a second chance. A second chance at life. A second chance to fulfill their promise. But everything comes at a price, as does this.
You see, in the vast multiverse, there are many worlds in peril. And, seeing as all four of these young men are full of power and potential, they have been resurrected. The price of said resurrection is to assist in the saving of one of these worlds.
I can assure myself, for a multitude of reasons, that you are familiar with this world.
Remnant.
Yes, yes. The world is full of creatures of the darkness, half-humans, hunters, and an off putting amount of cute girls who in reality would kick all of our asses without breaking a sweat. Yes, that Remnant.
Now, if these three gentlemen, and one shameless pervert, can assist in the saving of this world, then they will be taken back to their worlds. They will be able to go back to the ones who they have left behind and fix the promises which they have broken.

Ichika sighed and looked around at his teammates, or rather, future peers. They knew Beacon would assign them into teams of four, and as much as they hoped they would all be assigned as one team, there was a chance that wouldn't happen. Still, he had high hopes.
The four of them had met up a few months ago, and... even though it took a while..., they became a good team in the time they had known each other. Turns out all four of them had been isekai-ed into this world, which was one thing that certainly made them closer.
They had things in common. Though he was the youngest among them, they were all still in their teens, with Tatsumi being the eldest. "Tatsumi the Blacksmith" as Tatsumi called himself, though his skills at smithing were little compared to his skills at killing, but "Tatsumi the killer" didn't exactly have the same ring to it.
