-Toby's POV-

It's been a few days after that small mission with Tim. It was actually quite nice getting to know him, but I figured something out when we got back. I missed Brian...a lot. So my dumbass had the great idea of telling him my feelings. How did it go? It went great! Not!!
It was humiliating, I got turned down, it wasn't even friend zoning, he said I was like a son! That's even worse! And Tim was there... Oh god, what if him and Brian were together. Oh, who knows. I just want to forget that that ever happened.

I sighed and just laid in bed. I thought I would be able to find happiness in a place like this.

-Tim's POV-

How many years has it been since that kid arrived? I guess he isn't a kid anymore. He's twenty three. His silly crush on Brian has been over ever since that turned down Brian gave him. Brian told me that it was because he was too young for him. Understandable.... But I'm in no place to make fun of a crush or Brian's preference in things....

"Hey Timmy tin can!" I heard and turned to see Toby giving a small giggle after that nick name. I signed and have him a small smile.
"How long are you going to keep calling me that?" I asked

"Until you stop calling me kid! I'm twenty three years old, you've been calling me that ever since I arrived here!" He said giving me a small pout but then quickly smiled. "Oh yeah, Kate and Brian are leaving already for their mission, you already said your goodbyes to your boyfriend?~" He says.

I rolled my eyes and start to head towards the exit to say bye. "I just hugged Brian, that doesn't make him my boyfriend."

"And in that hugged you guys almost kissed. Nothing wrong with being a little gay Timmy." He says, I went and ruffled his hair while giving him a small push.

"Shut up...you got taller." I now noticed.

Toby smiled. "I'm not a kid anymore you old geezer."

We both sat in front of the mansion after Brian and Kate left. It was just the two of us.

"Tim... It's been five or six years since I've been an adult. If I grew up normally I would've either been in college or having a normal job... Don't you sometimes wish you could live normally...worry about the small things, rent, money...love." He says with a small sigh with and just looks at the sky seeing that it was getting dark.

"I do...you aren't the only one..." I said and slowly reached for his hand and looked at his eyes. His beautiful hazel eyes matched the color of his soft brown hair. Who knew I just needed a few years to grow attached to him. "We're in this together... Who knows, maybe one day we can both leave this place. Together."

Toby looked at me and then softly leaned on my shoulder. "I would really like that Tim." He says and held onto my hand tighter intertwining out fingers together.

"I promise we'll leave together."

The End
