                                                         Chapter One-

"Sam?" I here my mother's voice but i don't look up. This book has really got me ignoring people lately, but no one's said anything, so i assume it's fine.

"Come on kiddo. We got to go!!" Still not making eye contact i speak up.

    "Where exactly are we going?"

"No time for talking, more time for putting shoes on. COME ON, COME ON, COME ON!!!"

She runs off into the other rooms, probably to wake up my 15 year-old sister and 6 year-old brother. But it doesn't bother me to much. I crawl out of my cozy reading chair and put some sweat pants with a t-shirt and a sweatshirt over top. I feel lazy today.

"ARE YOU UP MS.READ-HER-BOOK-ALL-NIGHT-AND-PRETEND-TO-BE-SICK?" I can't stand Morgan.

A slam comes from the bathroom door. Water starts so i decide to say my evil comeback.

"UNLIKE YOU, I'M ALREADY DRESSED AND READY!"

As i walk into the living room, i find my dearest brother dressed in fancy pants and a tie. "Where are we going anyways?"

"As i told you last night, we are going to church. But you were to caught up in your book to realize!"

There she goes again. I roll my eyes at her, thinking, I'M to caught up in my BOOK? How about YOU'RE to caught up in your WORK, leaving me and Mor- well mostly me- to take care of Carson?
