Chapter 2: joining the Plumbers

Y/n's pov

as we entered the office of this Max Tennyson I see a man much older wearing a Hawaiian shirt and dark blue pants whose behind the desk of the office.

man: ah I see my grand kids manage to bring you here.

Y/n: well I was curious on why they wanted me here names Y/n Rowe nice to meet you Mr...

man: Max Tennyson welcome to Plumbers HQ. now I've heard from Pierce that you saved him from Forever Knights when you first came to town am I correct?

Y/n: yup, which reminds me what's with those knight wannabes and their beef with aliens?

Max: well in the past the Forever knights were split into their own factions. but as of now they have been more aggressive like last night which could prove bad for any innocent aliens trying to make a living.

Y/n: yeah, I'm wondering if Conduits are on their hit list and if so they might try to target me.

Max: I would assume so, but that's not the only reason your here.

Y/n: and what is the reason I'm here for?

Max: well one is that you've seen Pierce's actual appearance and that we the Plumbers have work with aliens in secret and to wipe the memories of any civilian who stumbles upon Plumber work.

Y/n: to make sure the aliens stay secret until the world is ready to know am I right?

Max: yes but there are some rare occasions where an outsider can join the Plumbers as long as they are trust worthy. which is what I want to ask you would you like to join the Plumbers Y/n?

Y/n: sure knowing that aliens are among humans these lips are sealed.

Max: great since you know Pierce him Helen and Manny will be giving you a tour of the base and welcome to the Plumbers.

with that me and the others left the office as giving Ben and Kevin some fist bumps. then Pierce, Manny and Helen begin to give me a tour around the base starting with the transport vehicles for getting supplies before doing a mission. then showing me the cafeteria where they get the food with both edible alien food and some human ones they even told my to watch out for Max Tennyson's cooking. then they showed me to the personal quarters for each Plumber to rest then our tour reaches it's last destination which is the gym and training center.

Pierce: and here is the place were we train some of our powers and other skills that needs improving.

Y/n: man this place is huge if I'm not careful I could get lost.

Manny: don't worry I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

Helen: any way Y/n I'm curious on what your powers are cause according to Ben and the others you have more than one right?

Y/n: why yes I have a total of four powers the one I used when I first met Pierce is my smoke power it allows me to absorb, control and redirect smoke, fire and embers it is one of the first powers my father obtained. the next power is the one I used when fighting the Forever knights with Ben, Kevin and Gwen it's called Neon which does the same as smoke but with neon color lights while using Neon power when I run it allows me to run at super speed to keep up with a train and climb up walls and building. the next one is called Video it is more versatile then the other two I can use it in combat and travel when I use a move called Video surge I can sore through the air with video like wings. the last one is Concrete this is the power that my father got from Augustine with it I can control anything made of concrete when I run I can cover myself with concrete armor making me a running juggernaut barreling towards anything in front of me.
