It was a warm summer night in Stow-On-Side. Faith was outside, playing with Bea and her newborn baby brother, Allister. Their mother was talking to an older couple.
Suddenly, Faith felt herself being lifted off the ground by her mother. Bea, confused, stumbled along as her mother picked up Allister and handed him to the older woman. Faith tilted her head in confusion. "Baby bwother going bye-bye?" She asked in a confused tone.
Her mother smiled and nodded, wiping a few tears away. "Yes." She handed Bea over to the man. "Take good care of them, because I know we can't..." She said in a shaky tone.
Faith started to cry as they separated. "Bea!" She whimpered, struggling to get out of her mother's grip. Bea stood there, in shock.
