Chapter 4

-makotos p.o.v-
It's been days since togami revealed himself as the mastermind and when...they all died. I haven't left my room and I've only eaten little of the food I've been given. I know I said I'll make him feel hope but I can't. I can't even look at Togami. I heard a bang at the door. "Makoto! Makoto Naegi!". I jumped up. Geez he nearly gave me a heart attack. "W-what?" "Oh so you are up! Get out of your room!" I walked to the door and opened it slightly. "Yes b-byakuya?" I stuttered. "Oh stuttering are we makoto? Your not scared are you?", Byakuya said with a grin. "No- i-I'm not-..I'm just...upset" Truth is is that I'm not upset. I'm angry. I completely despise him. But I can't let him know that. "Ah I see. Your upset because I killed your friends," Togami was grinning more widely. "Your upset because I ripped their bodies apart..you feel despair right?!" I stepped back. "N-no Byakuya thats not-" Togami now had a disappointed expression on his face. "Oh so your still hopeful...I'm not going to lie naegi  i like the hopeful you..but I bet I would like the despair you better!" I stared at him blankly. "...why though..I don't want to feel despair..." Togami rolled his eyes. "Were leaving here" "Huh why?" Togami looked at me with a disgusted look on his face. "Makoto, are you serious? Your not that dumb are you?" I stayed quiet. "Your not going to live here forever are you? You want to see your family right?" He said with a smirk. My eyes lit up. "You'll let me see them? There okay? They aren't dead?!" Togami was still smirking. "Why wouldn't I?". Something was wrong with this. It didn't seem real but I wanted to see them again. I needed to.

Togami had led me outside of the school. Dead bodies were littered everywhere. "All these people..died.." Togami looked at me and sighed. "Its what they get for trying to get into the school, now lets get going makoto I'm sure your parents are 'dying' to see you again". I followed him into a black car. The guy in the front seat had sunglasses on a suit on. He looked like someone out of a movie. "Where to mr Togami?" The driver said in a deep voice. "Take me to the Naegi resident". Togami makes everything sound so fancy. It was a short drive. About 15 minutes long? Once we got there I saw my home. A rush of hope filled me as a ran to the door. I pushed the door open and.
