Chapter 7

Drew's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about Eli while I was driving home.

If I wasn't sure if I was attracted to Eli before tonight, now there were no questions about it, I truly was attracted to him.

The question was, should I tell him?

I also was sad that he lost his parents and didn't grow up in the same household with his little brother.

As soon as I got home my phone dinged. It was from Eli.

"Did you get home safely Mr. Knockout?"

I laughed and quickly replied back.

"Yes, I did :)"

"Good :) talk to you soon, sweet dreams."

"Sweet dreams to you too :)"

Four days later

I had just finished filming a scene and I was done for today.

I hadn't heard from Eli since I left his apartment and I wondered if maybe I really shouldn't have asked questions about his family and his life.

I decided to visit him on the set he was working on for today.

I ran into Courtney.

"Hey, where is Eli?" I asked.

"Waiting area, although you won't get much of a conversation with him."

"Bad day?"

"No, he is doing homework." She then walked off in a huff.

I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped as I was walking towards the waiting area.

Once I got there, there he was, his books and notes on the table, him writing something down in a notebook.

I quietly snuck up on him and covered his eyes.

"Guess who?"

"My favorite person?"

"Who would that be?" I teased.

"Mr. Knockout of course."

I chuckled.

"Good guess and it's the right one," I said as I uncovered his eyes.

I took a seat beside him.

"It's good to see you," Eli said, giving me a smile.

"It's good to see you too."

"Do we have some scenes to do together that I don't know about?"

"No, I was in the neighborhood doing my scenes so I thought I dropped by to see you."

"That's nice of you and I'm glad you dropped by because I actually was going to text you after class that I had later on today."

"I'm guessing it was to hang out?"

He nodded.

"What would you like to do?" I asked.

"Maybe we could grab a coffee or maybe take a drive with a coffee to go?"

"I'd like taking a drive with coffee option. What time?"

"My class is at four, I'll be out at five so how about at seven?"

"If you are hungry after class how about we go out for dinner and then go somewhere to get a coffee to go before going for the drive?"

"Are you asking me out on a date Mr. Valentino?"
