NOTE I have no idea when the host club meet but I'm just gonna put it here and there because it really wont effect the story at all.

English went by fast and uneventfully, I  listened to music for most of it as it as mostly written tasks. Kyoya left early because he was called to deal with some club issues?

The bell rang telling us that first period was over. I started packing my things up and putting my headphones on and looking for a decent song to listen to on my way to art, not in any rush. As I put my bag on and looked around I saw that some of the others weren't in a rush either. Or they had free period? I don't know.

I headed for the door throwing my empty coffee cup in the bin as I passed and giving a two finger salute to Mr. Kowizowa and getting a smile and a nod in return.

Since it was my first day I'm sure being late would go unnoticed since i don't know my way around yet. Wonder how long that excuse will last.

I walked in to the long hallways lined with pillars made of marble, taking in the nice architecture but not making it obvious.

"Ah shit." It hit me again. "My fucking sketch pad is at home." I muttered to myself in anger with a slight sigh. I looked to my right to see a girl in the yellow uniform giving me a scared look, as if I just robbed the place. Great as if I didn't stand out enough now I'm talking to my self. - I think to my self pinching the bridge of my nose.

I walked out of the building to the outside yard. There were fruit trees, flower patches, rose bushes and the odd fountain dotted about here and there. The place looked like it belonged to a palace.

There were people there, probably on their free period, so i tried not too look too impressed by the well grow garden or neatly trimmed hedges. I don't want them to think I enjoy being surrounded by them and their spoiled life style.

I started to make my way to the next building where my art class was... I think. I took slow strides enjoying the calm atmosphere which was different or a high school.

room 29  my time table wasn't much help with finding the rooms. just the door number and the lesson. "that's not useless at all." I said with my voice coated in sarcasm.

"ummm, can I hep you?" I heard a voice say close by causing me to stop in my tracks and put my time table away.

when I turned to see who was talking to me I saw a....er.... student, with short brown hair, big chocolate brow eyes. They were wearing a boys uniform so I assume they are male. I raised an eyebrow at him and he tucked his arms behind his back fidgeting slightly. oops i need to stop looking so angry I relaxed my face. "you looked a little lost so I thought-"

I cut him off before he could finish. "yeah, I'd like some help, thanks" I said taking him up on his offer and gave him a smile in return to which he mirrored on his own features.

"I'm looking for room 29 for art?" I said handing him my time table.

"Well your in the right block, follow me I'll take you there." he said and handed me my time table back and walked slightly ahead of me.

"So your the new honour student?" He asked looking over his shoulder when he was talking to me.

I looked down at my clothes and then back at him with a grin on my face. "Take a wild guess." He let out a small laugh at my comment.

"don't get too frustrated, not that I thought you were. To be honest your handling it pretty well. Or t least better than I did." He said followed by a nervous laugh.

"So your an honour student too?" I asked with slight curiosity in my voice though I already knew the answer.

"Yeah, I got amazing grades and signed up for the scholarship but along with it came a few..." He seemed to shiver slightly and continued "problems."

"What kind of problems?"I asked intrigued by the way he reacted to his own words.

He looked around before talking. "Between you and me, the kind that made me join a club and pretend to be a boy" she lowered her voice when explaining so no one overheard.

"Oh so you are a girl?" I whispered.

"Yeah but I know you can keep it a secret." She said with a smile.

"What makes you think that? Not that I would tell anyone, but we just met, I don't even know your name."

We started walking up some stairs and I was now walking next to her rather than behind.

"Because we understand the struggle of coming in to this whole different world and having to get by with what ever we have while everyone else here has it fairly easily." We came to a large wooden door. "Here we are, uh- sorry I don't think I caught your name."

"That's because I didn't throw you it." I said followed by a small playful wink. She let out a laugh to which I joined in.

"Smooth, very smooth." She regained her composure and put her hand out for me to shake it. "I'm Haruhi Fujioka." I took her hand in mine with a slight grip and shook it firmly. "I'm y/n, y/l/n. thanks for your help I'd love to hear more about these issues that came with your scholarship at lunch maybe?" I suggested. she smiled up to me.

"Yeah sure we can meet at lunch, I'll be in a club but you can come by and chat for  it if you like, that way you can meet the issues your self" I raised and eyebrow at her in confusion.

"It's in music room 3, I hope I'll see you there and if you need help finding it ask anyone. Chances they will know where it is are very high." She said as she turned to walk away.

"...music room 3?..."
