Backstory: The warden of Camp Green Lake is your aunt. You're staying there over the summer because you were tired of sitting on the couch every year during break. (You're dating Squid if you haven't guessed).
"Yea, well I'm sure we can find some place." I watched the toothpick in the corner of his mouth move as he talked. We tried to keep our PDA private which was hard to do at a camp packed with boys. "Come on, they're all in the rec. room anyways." He placed his arm around my shoulder. We walked to D Tent, our home here. I sat down on the bed across from his. He laid down on his bed and crossed his arms behind his head.
"So how long are you staying here anyways?" I asked him.
"Uhhhh, I don't know. About a few more months, maybe a year."
"Are you serious?" He leaned over and looked at me.
"What're you doing? Come here." He scooted over and put his arm around me as I laid beside him. "What's got you thinking about this anyways? You aren't planning on leaving me are you?"
"No, I love you Alan, I really do." I looked up into his eyes.
"Good, because I love you too." He planted a quick kiss on my forehead. I turned over and snuggled into him. His arm moved down from my shoulder to my waist. I closed my eyes and took in our little moment.
