*During Christmas Break*

Ginny had just dropped James and Molly off at Harry's since Teddy had offered to look after the kids while the adults went to the Hogwarts reunion at Hogsmeade. Hugo (the youngest by 5 years) bounced over to the two new arrivals, pulling them both into a hug.

"James! Molly! You guys made it!"

The two thirteen year olds gave the eight year old a smile and hugged back as they walked into the living room. Teddy was talking to Rose and Lily who appeared to be arguing over how long it really took to perfect a polyjuice potion. Scorpius sat on the floor waiting for Hugo to come back and resume whatever game they were playing.

Lily walked over to the twins looking very proud of herself. Hugo had sat back down with Scorpius who nodded his head in acknowledgment at the two. The relationship between the Weasleys (Ginny's kids) and Potters was strained. It had always been this way, the only friendship was that between the twins and Lily who were in the same year. Teddy was in his seventh year at Hogwarts, Scorpius was in his fifth and Rose was in her third.

Teddy was the closest to Harry given that he knew Harry longer. Any time one of the others said anything about Harry he would make sure it wasn't bad. He even got into a fist fight over it back at Hogwarts. A kid had said Harry was useless and that Harry would never know the pain of losing anyone since he couldn't love anyone but himself, so Teddy had turned around and pummeled the kid into the floor of the Hufflepuff common room.

Harry wasn't too happy when he got the call that Teddy was in a fight but had considerably lowered the punishment when he heard the motive. Teddy was still lectured on picking his battle and Teddy was almost banned from his keeper position on the quidditch team.

Lily loved Harry but not quite as....violently, as Teddy. She was a Gryffindor and loved hearing all the stories Harry had while in that very same common room. She was also an amazing seeker which wasn't a surprise since she had started flying before she could walk. No one found this surprising seeing as she was Harry's daughter.

Scorpius, well he was Scorpius. He never really showed it but he loved Harry and would do anything for him. He was a beater for Slytherin and had quite the arm. He did have the same humor as Harry so the house had fun with that.

Hugo and Rose were Weasleys, there was no doubt about it. It did look like both had inherited Hermione's smarts. Rose was the only one old enough to go to Hogwarts and like all Weasleys, was in Gryffindor but she did not play quidditch preferring a book to a broom. Hugo only had three more years before the inevitable invitation came.

James and Molly were the children of Harry and Ginny. Ginny had told them that Harry had fallen out of love with her but they had stuck together for the first few years so that the kids had an easier upbringing. When the kids started their first year at Hogwarts both agreed it was time to split ways. While Harry appeared to be thriving Ginny was a mess and the kids had noticed. They blamed Harry for their mother's sadness and saw him as a selfish git that never felt real pain.

Teddy was still talking to Rose when the twins walked over. They exchanged nods with Teddy and hugged Rose in greeting.

"James. Molly. How're you two?" Teddy asked in a daring attempt to start a conversation. The two looked up with matching expressions of clear discomfort. The two were hesitant in talking to the seventeen year old because half of the words out of their mouths were insults directed at Harry.

"We're doing okay. What about you?"

The four kids continued the awkward conversation until a loud scream came from behind them. They ran to the room that they assumed held the source of the scream. Teddy slammed the door open to Harry's study to see Hugo on the ground being tickled ruthlessly by Scorpius and Lily. James and Molly looked around taking an interest in all the pictures on the desk.

"Who are these people?" James asked, picking one of the pictures off of Harry's desk. Teddy smiled as he looked over James' shoulder.

"That's baby Harry, his mom Lily, his dad James, my dad Remus and Harry's godfather Siriusl" Teddy points to each one as he names them, smiling as he continues to look at the picture.

"Where are they?" Molly asked knowing full well that Harry's parents were dead, but genuinely curious what had happened to the other two.

"Sirius died when Harry was fifteen and Remus, my dad, died when Harry was seventeen and Harry's parents-" Just as Teddy was about to tell the two what they already knew they all heard a loud crash and turned to see Hugo looking down at the mound of shattered glass. Before he could touch it Scorpius picked him up.

"Really Hugo? Can you go two seconds without destroying our eardrums and or house?" Scorpius said playfully as the redheaded boy looked down sheepishly.

The seven kids bent down to see what had fallen over but a loud crack erupted through the room and a blinding light flashed. They all slowly opened their eyes to see a slightly familiar study but upon closer inspection they found it to be almost completely different.

Teddy led the group out of the study going where his gut told him, and when they reached the doorway to what seemed to be the kitchen Teddy had figured out that this was still the same house but the differences confused him. They walked into the kitchen only to be face to face with 16 oddly familiar faces.
