Chapter 0: Prologue

Hi, I'm Atlas Aldiem Alcantara. It's the name given to me by the sisters in the orphanage.

They said that they found me when I was still a baby in the front door of the orphanage with nothing but a cloth covering me.

They said that I still have bloodstains back then which means after I was born, I was immediately left behind by my parents.

I don't hate them though; I met many children in the orphanage with the same experience.

I gradually realized that many circumstances can be a reason to left me, I am actually thankful for them because they gave birth to me instead of choosing abortion.

And they chose to leave me in the orphanage rather than in the trash bin.

Many children here in the orphanage were left behind in many different places, trash bin, comfort room, hospital, and many more.

I matured so fast that other children can't relate to me.

I started to isolate myself, causing me to become a typical introvert, timid, silent, and shy.

I spent my days reading books, and I found my interest in engineering.

Time passed by and I graduated high school.

The sisters decided to send me to the capital to study mechanical engineering, they gave me money but it's just enough for me to stay there for at least 3 months.

I told them that I will find a job when I get there so they don't need to send me money monthly. I'll text them every now and then to update them of my life there.

I packed my luggage immediately.

I looked back at the orphanage and wave to sisters who brought me up.

'I promise to become a great engineer, I'll pay back the love you gave me Sisters! I'll be back soon' I vowed to myself.
