Chapter 14

(A/n there is going to be a couple time skips in the next few chapters)

Oscar POV
It's been a few weeks Ari has been home resting with her family and Jose goes and visits her sometimes. Los santos beat up Cesar and I kicked him out. Thanks to Cesar Ari got shot cuz he was too pussy to kill Latrelle. It hurts me to kick out my own brother but I had to do what I had to.

I'm sitting outside on the porch and smoking a blunt with the homies. Sad eyes was sitting next to Jose and they were laughing at something Benito said. "Ayy if it isn't the bullet taker" Tito said and everyone looked to see who it was. It was Ari walking up the lawn. She didn't look happy.

She walked up the steps and slapped me hard like real fucking hard. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO ANYTHING TO HIM AND YET YOU DID" she took a breathe and I stood up "WHY DID YOU HAVE THE GUYS BEAT HIM? WHY DID YOU KICK HIM OUT?" She pushed me making me stumble back a little. "HE HAD IT COMING" she shook her head then slapped me again "NO YOUR JUST MAD HE DIDNT KILL LATRELLE" I shook my head.

"He was supposed to kill him and yet he didn't which caused you to be at the hospital with a bullet in your stomach" I said making her back up with tears falling out of her eyes. She shook her head "IF YOU DIDNT HAVE HIM GO KILL LATRELLE AND IF YOU KILLED HIM YOUR SELF THEN WE WOULD NOT BE HERE" she looked to the side then back at me "Your just a pussy nigga that can't do shit and a horrible brother your just like your dad instead of leaving to prison you abandoning your brother YOUR ONLY FAMILY" now I had tears in my eyes "A fucking pendejo you are and you guys" she pointed at Jose, Tito, Benito, and the other homies.

"Are dead to me fucking beating a kid up cuz he didn't kill someone to become one of y'all" she scoffed and walked away "Ari wait" Jose got up she turned to him "No I thought you were better then all of them don't come to me at all your dead to me" she walked off the porch and drove away. I looked at the guys who were shocked and some had tears in their eyes.

Some of them went home and it was only me, Jose, Benito, and Tito. Gina came not long after "Hey babe what happened to your face you have a really red hand print on your face" I shook my head "I'm fine just got in a fight with one of the guys" Jose got up and scoffed "No you didn't Ari smacked the shit out of you I'm tried of you lying to her she ain't good for you she ain't worth it the right one for you, you just lost and made all of us lose her too. She was right you are a pussy I'm out" he whipped his tears away and walked away.

When he was half way to his car he stopped and turned around "Oh and Gina the reason Oscar wasn't at your date that night he was at the hospital with Ari" she looked at me and tears filled her eyes. "I hope you understand you fucked my life up Spooky" Jose said getting in his car and driving off. I just lost my best friend. Benito and Tito got up shaking their heads and leaving.

"You were with her and don't lie to me" I nodded and she scoffed "YOU ARE A LOWLIFE I JUST USE YOU FOR MONEY AND WHEN I NEED DICK" she covered her mouth I just scoffed "Were done" I said getting up and going into the house "wait what?" She grabbed my arm and I yanked it away "we are done" "No you can't leave me I love you" I got in her face "YOU DONT LOVE ME YOU JUST ADMITTED IT WE ARE DONE" she backed up "I'm sorry Oscar plz" "GET OUT" I made her jump and she ran out crying.

I just lost my best friend and the homies hate me. I lost the one girl that made me feel like I had something to chase after. I sat on my bed and cried. I called Jose crying and he came over.
"Hey I'm here" I hugged him and cried "I'm sorry for ruining your life this is all my fault. I should've listen to you and Ari. Gina was just using me and it hurts I lost all the people I care about" he patted my back "I'm sorry I'm always going to be here for you but all the other people I don't know you made a decision that had consequences" I nodded
Jose stayed with me until I fell asleep.
-1 1/2 months later-
Ari POV
Cesar has been sleeping on the streets cuz Monse's dad didn't want him at his house so I let Cesar stay over my house. Cesar didn't like how there was a prophet at my house so Jenny was helping me find a house to buy. A lot of shit has been happening this past month. "Ari I just found a house it's like a block away" she sat her laptop on my bed "it's perfect" "but it's too expensive" I looked at the price and it was 5,000 dollars to own it.

"Hennessy and her sister agreed to pay for it so we are good" she nodded. Hennessy is a rich girl that lives in a non rich town. "Hey I'm going to see the squad" Cesar said giving me a kiss on the cheek "Be safe call me if you need me" he nodded and left. "Hey want to go to the mall?" I looked at her "come on your fully healed which is crazy and your body is killing" I rolled my eyes at her "You just want to dress me" she nodded "Please"

"Fine only for a little" she jumped up and grabbed her bag. I put my shoes on and walked to the door. Once I hit the door J.J came up to me "Can I go with you guys Julian is scary and Zander left with Cesar" I sighed "Fine" we all left.

We been at the mall for about 1 hour and I'm starving. "Hey can we go to Jamal's dads shop I'm starving" "Yeah can we leave I'm bored and hungry" J. J added Jenny smiles and nodded.
Jamal was working today and he was at the front. "Hey J How you been?" "Good I just saw you yesterday" I rolled my eyes

"There is a few tables open pick one I will come with your menus" I smiled and pulled J.J to the table. We ordered some fries and 3 burgers. 2 chocolate milkshakes and 1 strawberry. Jamal gave us our food and sat next to me. We talked for a little.

"Oscar I didn't think you guys were coming today. Take a seat I will be there in a few" we all turned around to see Oscar. Jamal looked at me with wide eyes. They took the table that is behind the table behind us. It was Oscar and Jose who had their backs turned to us and Flaca and some chola was faced toward us. Flaca saw me and I put my finger to my lips so she wouldn't say anything. She nodded and went back to listening to Oscar and Jose talk. It's been a month and a half and I haven't heard or seen any of them.

We just kept eating and once we finished Jamal threw our food away. He came back and sat next to me "I over heard Oscar say he was going to the bathroom when the food comes so you guys can leave then" I nodded

Oscar got up and went to the bathroom and we got up and started walking out. I looked at their table and made eye contact with Jose. I shook my head and he put his head down. My car was out back cuz I have a free parking space thanks to Jamal.

"Thanks Jamal for helping us" "Any time" I looked around and couldn't see J.J. Oh shit "Where's J.J?" "Oh shoot he might still be inside" I shook my head "No he went to see Oscar lets go" I walked into the joint and saw J.J sitting on Oscars lap.

We walked up to the table "Let's go J.J" Oscar looked at me and a little small smile crept up but went into a frown "Why can't I stay with Oscar" I shook my head "Cuz I said so now let's go" "Come on buddy I will walk you to the car" Oscar got up and I rolled my eyes. I said bye to Jamal and Jenny walked with me to the car. Oscar put J.J in his car seat and Jenny got in the car too. I looked at him

"Thanks" I said with a fake smile I turned and started to walk to the driver side when he grabs my arm "I'm sorry" I yanked my arm away and shook my head "I don't want your sorry Spooky" he looked at me "Spooky? What happened to Oscar?" "No Oscar is just a Spooky with a mask on but when he lost the mask we lost Oscar" he had tears in his eyes I just got into my car and drove off.
Oscar POV
What Ari said hurt and I watched her drive away. Jose came out and put his arm around me and so did Flaca. "She will come back she just needs time don't worry about it" I nodded and we went back inside to eat.
