"At first i was scared, the way these feelings started coming on.. I couldnt breath without you there, i couldnt see without you in my arms. I am just a heart thats beating up every second of your touch." I sang lightly to myself as I lay in the medows in my grans backyard.
I had broughten out my lyric book, guitar, and a pot of tea. I had been working on this song for a while now, but I couldn't get past those lines. I hear the wind blow through the trees loudly, masking the noise of someone coming up behind me.
"Did ya write that yourself?" I hear luke say while sitting down next to me and I cringe.
"Er yeah, it's sorta personal. sorrey." I say "Oh no no! I'm sorry i didnt mean to intrude, but that song is absolutely beautiful!" He responds quickly.
"Haha thanks its not a song though, I can't get past those few lines." I say as I feel lukes eyes study my face as I pick the flowers nervously.
"I'm sure you'll get your inspiration somehow." He says and I thank him. "You look nice today, by the way. I never not seen you in black or grey." He says and I blush as I look down at the pastel short floral dress that I had on with my white keds. "Er thanks." I mumble
"Well I also came over here to tell you something. Remember my mate Calum?" He asks sounding a bit bothered
"Oh yeah!" i say
"Well he wanted me to ask you if youd be willing to go out with him tonight?" He asks and I smile
"Yea sure! I'd love to!" I say "Alright ill go and phone him." He says and we both start to walk to the house.

I hop out of the shower, the steam pouring out the door. I lather myself with lavender lotion and my put on my underwear and bra. I wrap my hair in my towl and walk out into my closet.
I throw up some light washed shredded skinny jeans and slip on my black dc martins. I put on a white v-neck and a white furry jacket that's cut like a leather jacket with the flaps in the front that you can button up to your collar. I dry out my hair, its beach waves rolling down to my butt.
I spray on my pink channel perfume and grab my mini leather back pack. I add some excessories by putting on my aquamarine crystal necklace and a couple of rings.
I hear the doorbell go off and I hear someone open the door, probably luke.
"Hey luke!" I hear Calums voice ring through the house
"Hey Mate! Just be careful with her, alright? I don't want her getting hurt or anything!" I hear him try to whisper but I can still hear it.
"Of course." Calum replies and I feel butterflies in my stomach. I decide to run downstairs to say hello to my date.
"Hey Calum" I say as I run downstairs to hug him.
"Hiya." He says as he gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Well, ill see ya tonight Luke." As I close the door behind Calum and I.
I wonder how this date will go.
