I opened my eyes and the sun was peaking through the window. I got dressed and then went downstairs.

"Hi Lea." Jacob said in a soft voice

My head hurt and my heart felt empty. I broke down right there in front of him. Then the most unbelievable thing happened. Jacob hugged me, like it was a genuine hug. I hugged back and got myself together.

"Isn't this just a touching moment." Asher said walking into the room.

I backed away from Jacob and wiped my eyes.

"Grow up, this is who you are now. We're your new family. And family doesn't betray family, keep that in mind. We could have killed you but we didn't. You should be grateful." Asher said.

I walked away.

There was a knock on the door and asher answered it. It was a cop. He looked at all the boys and then at me.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Of course." Jacob said.

Jacob went to get Kaiden and Martin. Asher and I were standing in the kitchen across from the police officer. I looked him in the eyes and got an idea that I hoped would work I started blinking in Morse code.

The cop continued talking to asher but nodded at me. I smiled but Asher saw me smiling and got suspicious. He pushed me behind him and Kaiden and Martin came down the stairs with Jacob.

"Hello officer, what can I help you with?" Kaiden asked.

" Well we had a couple people complain about suspicious activity." He said glancing at me every now and then.

He started talking about a mother who got murdered and her missing daughter. I saw Kaidens face go red with anger but he was trying to contain it. The officer looked at me and I nodded. He nodded and wrote something down on a pad.

"We were thinking maybe the girl got kidnapped, but the weird thing is the mother thought she was running away, we don't know which yet, I'm sorry who is this?" The officer said pointing to me.

"Thats my sister Maya." Martin said.

"Can I talk to her?" The officer said.

I looked at Martin and he tapped his pocket where a gun was. The officer didn't notice though. Martin then nodded. I walked with the officer into the next room.

"Are you Lea?" He whispered

I nodded.

"Are they armed?" He asked.

I nodded again

"I'll come back for you tomorrow with backup, can you hang in there?" He asked.

I nodded and smiled. The officer said that there must have been a false alarm and everything was fine before leaving.

"She told him something!" Asher said as soon as he was gone.

"I know, he was acting weird." Kaiden said.

I got nervous.

"I'm calling Mike." Jacob said.

"Wait why?" I asked.

"We're going to the safe house, you ratted on us." Martin said.

"No! We can't leave" I said

"And why is that?" Kaiden asked

" It was at that moment I realized I had fucked up."

Asher chuckled and then went up the stairs.

"They're coming tonight and then we'll leave." Jacob said

Time skip......

It was dark and we were all in a school bus that the other guys pulled up in. Cole and I say in the way back Kaiden was driving and everyone else was in the front/ middle of the bus.

"What's going on?" Cole asked.

"A cop came by and they found out I told him about what happened to me and now we're going to some safe house." I said.

"Do you think we're going back?" Cole asked.

I shook my head.

" No chance of seeing my parents ever again...." Cole said.

I hugged him.

"It's all my fault." I said.

"You were trying to get to safety, I get it." He Said.

Tyler and Ross came back to the seats in  front of us.

"We are moving into the safehouse, we are now one gang." Ross said

"It's going to be a long drive." Tyler said.

"How long?" Cole asked.

"12 hours." Tyler said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Its your fault don't get an attitude." Ross said.

I rolled my eyes and they went back up with everyone else. We stopped at a house and Allison got on and put her lugage in the middle seats like everyone else had. She kissed Kaiden and sat down with the rest of they guys.

I play gagged and Cole laughed.

It wasn't long before I drifted to sleep.
