AN /// episode 2 here we goooo!!!

"Look, for nine months everybody's tried to get me to believe my dad is dead. They say I'm in denial, whatever. Denials underrated you should try it sometime, it's highly effective and it's only denial if you're wrong. It doesn't make any sense, my dad is the last guy who would ever get lost at sea. This compass coming back to me, my father's compass which has been passed down for generations, it's a sign. My dad is still alive, and I'm gonna find him."

NO POV

As the sun was rising, John B was making his way towards the Camerons' to return the scuba gear he had 'borrowed' the day before. John is a stubborn person, just like his dad was. His friends knew that, so they supported him hoping one day he would accept the fact he wasn't going to come back, even if they believed he wasn't they would always try not to show it.

John B began to slow the boat as he neared the yacht. Pulling up to the back deck tying it off, he made his way into the cabin lugging all of the equipment with him. Sliding the door open, he comes to a halt seeing Sarah Cameron asleep on the couch.

"Wheezie shut up" a groggy voice calls while John B tries to move as quietly as he can. Of course being the clumsy idiot he is, he hits the metal tank against a piece of furniture startling the once sleeping girl.

"You're not wheezie." she realized out loud.

"Correct" John B replied chuckling awkwardly.

Sarah layed back down, "If you're looking for Taylor she is out on the front deck." she sighed.

"Uhh ok" John B had no idea Taylor was at Sarah's, they all just figured she went home the night before.

Sarah reopened her eyes rubbing her temple, just now being hit with a minor hangover from drinking with Taylor the night before. Seeing all the stuff in his arms made her realize he wasn't there to see Taylor. "What are you doing?"

"U-um I'm just dropping off some scuba gear" he stutters now looking down at her shirt, pulled up almost revealing her cleavage. Quickly noticing she pulls it down, also attempting to straighten out her appearance.

"What are you doing here?" He questioned nervously.

"Could ask you the same question JB" Taylor comments leaning on the doorframe, smirking at the boy looking so awkward. John B flicks his head around giving her a nervous look,

"Hey T" he barely says, now caught up in one of the weirdest moments of his life.

"It's our boat" Sarah says in a 'duh tone', kind of her signature voice. Taylor smiles again, making her way past John B sitting down on her part of the couch the girls shared.

"Also the only place at the Cameron's with AC" Taylor chimes in, taking a sip from her coffee.

Sarah chuckles at Taylor's comment before continuing with John B, "Did you top off the tanks?"

Taylor loved her friends, but watching them struggle in easy to get out of situations always found a way to amuse her.

"Yea John B, I want to get on with all my kook-like activities, now that it's summer." Taylor says sarcastically with a mischievous smile on her face.

"Umm no. powers down, so the compressors were off." he shakes off, somehow looking even more awkward than before.

"So you're sneaking onto our boat at five a.m. with empty tanks. I'll make sure to tell Ward." she says with the same smirk as Taylor on her face.

"Yea ok, good. Sounds good" he trails off.

"Or! How about you leave all that shit here, and we go find Sarah an advil. Cause she is grumpy when hungover." Taylor jumps up.
