Kyle Is Not Tadashi (Big Hero 6 x OC)

Chapter 1: Truth

"Slurp"

Only realized, Kyle was drinking from Hiro's straw. The taste of his saliva onto his lips feels weird yet warmth. He shouldn't feel like this way since he's an underage kid and associating himself as a pedophile is definitely a no-go. Throughout the movie, he wasn't even paying attention but kept eyeing back to Hiro, who's excitedly jumped at almost every single action scene. He couldn't contain his excitement.

Kyle didn't like the fact that Hiro reminds him of his dead brother, Tadashi but He had to admit something.

He's been happier hanging out with someone. Being a chef isn't easy since working 6-days a week and 12 hours a day has taken its toll on his health and social life. Hence, he's always been groggy and tired and his comfort is being alone in his home, contemplating life while inhaling some psychedelic weed or cigarettes. He takes pride in making good food that filled a person's tummy and their heart too especially in this filled-cultural place.

The movie ended and Hiro kept explaining all the scientific terms of almost every scene and his hand gestures go bigger to imitate whatever he says. Kyle only looked at him and smiled.

Soon, silence filled the air when they are walking back to his motorcycle. Then Hiro spoke.

"Are you okay? You seem to not enjoyed the movie"

He exclaimed.

"It's been a while since I watched a movie and Avengers is definitely not my go-to."

It hurt Hiro to hear that. Kyle spent his off day with Hiro and he didn't enjoy it. It was a harsh blow and understands that Hiro is still a teen.

"I'm sorry"

"For?" Kyle asked.

"To waste your time with something you didn't like"

Kyle sighed and accidentally hurt Hiro. Hiro is smart with his brain but he's still an emotional kid that's going through phases. Maturity isn't there yet. He understands that Tadashi has been a really good big brother to let Hiro decide what he likes and just go along with it.

"Look, I'm not Tadashi. All I can do it providing you emotional support. Believe me, I know how it feels to lose someone you loved so much. And I can see Tadashi is someone you really looked up to"

Hiro looked down. He couldn't meet Kyle's eye because he knows all this while, he just misses his big brother a lot and sees Tadashi externally but a total polar opposite when it comes to personality.

It was late and it wasn't evening anymore, it's closed to 10 PM and Aunt Cass would worried suck about Hiro. As soon as they approached Kyle's motorbike outside of the cinema, Hiro walked off to another direction, going back to his home without a goodbye.

Kyle didn't know what's going on. Or he could have known but he doesn't care as much.

"Hiro! Don't you want a lift?" He shouted.

Hiro stopped.

He looked up and turn back just to say "It's okay, I just felt like walking back. Don't worry, I'll be safe, and thanks for the night!".

He faked a smile before went off his way.

Kyle didn't like to see him depressed but if he insisted some alone time, he has to respect that, right?

Kyle didn't know what to do but decided to go on a different path, back home. The sound of his bike drove off and Kyle was nowhere near Hiro at all.

Hiro sighed.

"He's isn't Tadashi. He will never be like Tadashi"

He muttered with a heavy heart under a moonless sky before reaching home soon after.
