When people see royalty they usually see a king, a queen, a prince, and Princess. That is mostly true. But i'm different from those so called fairytales. Who am I? My name is Monica Raybrandnt princess of Eastern Terra and heir to the throne. I'm from the year 2053. I'm also slightly trained in swordsmanship. I'm definitely not your ordinary princess. My mother died before my 15th birthday. It was hard without but I moved on. But little did I know my whole world was going to change.

Monica's Pov:
Me and my father learned about Griffon's plans to take over the world through the past. And we had to be ready for anything. "This security command a Time Gate has opened up. We are beginning investigation in B section." A soldier on the radio said. "Alright let me know what you find." My father said. "Monica head over there to assist." My father said. "Yes Father." I said and headed off to B section. That was until i heard the alarm go off. "Another Time Gate Opened we are under attack!" A soldier said I knew i had to hurry so i grabbed a sword from one of the statue and ran.
I made to B section and saw yellow portal with some of Griffion's soldiers going through and a red portal with them coming out.

"Soldier fight back the princess is here." A soldier said. I summoned a triple fireball to attack some of the soldiers. "NO I WON'T GIVE IT TO YOU!" A voice was heard yelling from the yellow portal. "GO!" Another voice yelled. "A weilder?" I said. "WOAH!" the younger voice faded in and fell out of the yellow portal but landed on his feet. "Holy crap on a stick. Huh?" He said and loomed at the creatures and took out two blades one that looks like a short sword and a broad sword.
Robert's Pov:
Reading my swords I charged at the odd creatures and took most of them down but their were too many to handle. When i thought i was about to get clobbered some fire struck some of them. "What the hell?" I looked to see where the fire came from and see a girl in a dress with a sword shooting fireballs at them.
"Split up. Our Insider is waiting." One the creatures said and split up their forces. "they're heading for the castle!" What looked like a soldier said. "Fall back to the castle and protect my father I'll finish things here." The girl said. "Yes ma'am!" The soldier said and his men went off. We were almost surrounded but then i decided to do a trick of my own.
Monica's POV
"HEY! DUCK!" The boy said and i did what he said. And i saw awe struck me. He spun around in circles. "Sword Tornado." He yelled out and toom iut the remaining enemies. "Woah!" I said I ran up to him and went to thank him. "Hey! Thanks for the save." I said. "Hey you saved me first so don't mention it. Oh where are my manners? My names Robert Allen." Said the boy name Robert. "My Name is Monica Raybrandnt its a pleasure to meet you." I said. "Code red, Code red Griffon's army has breached the castle." "Looks like its not over yet. Lead the way." Robert said and he followed me towards the castle.
Robert's POV:
Following Monica to the castle we came across some of the so-called griffon soldiers they weren't so hard to defeat. When we finally made it to the castle A voice was heard on Monica's radio. "Code 0 repeat code zero Griffon's soldiers have entered the throne room!" A soldier said. "What those monsters are in my fathers room, FATHER!" Monica said. As we ran for the throne room my sixth sense kicked in and saw that some of the soldiers were about to bust in through the window. I had to act fast "DOWN!" I yelled getting Monica's head down. "Jesus Christ how many of these guys are there?" I said. "I don't know. But we have to fight our way through!" Monica said as we readied ourselves for a fight.
As we were fighting saw how monica fights with a single blade. She looks like shes had a bit of training but not enough to be a swordsman like me. But with my help me and monica took down the creatures. "Come on." Monica said and ran off. "Hey wait up!"
When we got to the throne room. I saw something I didn't expect. The man that attacked me and Zeon was in front of what i assumed was Monica's father. "I was waiting to kill you until your daughter got here." The man said and stabbed the man in his gut. "FATHER!" Monica screamed. "You Bastered!" I said running for him he used me to make himself go back. "See you around Kiddo." The assailant said a disappeared into a time gate. I gritted my teeth but then my attention was brought back Monica who was crying over her father. "Father just hold on." Monica said. But in his hand was what looked like a USB Flashdrive. "Monica, there is something you need to know, look at the first file in here and follow it. It's your destiny as a guardian. Promise me you'll do this." He said. "I will Father." Monica said. "Good, Girl." The father said taking his last breath. Monica put her face in my shoulder crying into it. That basterd will pay for this.
2 hours later
Monica's POV:
No one would truly understand what I lost, and I'm still trying to process my father's last words. What was so important on this drive but it obviously had to deal with what involves me and Robert. He blames himself for what happened. I don't, We were attacked and there was nothing we could do to stop it.
Robert's POV:
I blamed myself for the incident, if those soldiers hadn't been distracted none of these death would have happened. But since the blame would be on me I had to take responsibility. I was on my way to see how Monica was holding up. Tomorrow they'll be doing a service. Monica gave me the flash drive to hold on to for now. I found her in thought. "Hey." I said. "Oh hey." Monica said. "I'm sorry that this happened, if the soldiers hadn't gotten-" "Stop, none of this was your fault, I left my father out in the open, had I been there i could've saved him." Monica said. "Or you could've died alongside him. Would your father have wanted that?" I asked her. "You're right. I'm barely trained in swordsmanship I would've lost if not for you. Thank you." Monica said and kissed me on the cheek. "He he no problem." I was as red as a tomato and I heard her giggle like a schoolgirl. "Hey thats not funny." I said. What is this feeling, is this what love truly is. "What about the drive?" Monica asked. "Its a USB flash drive, it will work on a computer if you guys have those here?" I asked. "But i think it will be best to look at it after the service tomorrow." I said. "Yea that will be good. Thank you." Monica said. "Um where do I stay, I'm mean I'm not from here thats for sure." I said. "Don't you worry. I'll have the help set you up a bed. And get you prepared for the service." Monica said. I couldn't believe my ears, in stories princesses would be brats and not allow anyone in their home, but Monica seems like a kind person. "You know i am a swordsman myself I recently finished my training, if you want I can help you with your trainning." I offered. "Really you would help me with my training?" Monica asked. "Yeah it will be my way to thank you." I said then she ran up and hugged me tight. "Oh thank you so much Robert! I promise I won't let you down." Monica said. "Ugh Can't Breathe." I said losing my breath. "Oh, I'm so sorry." Monica said concerningly. "No it's okay" i said.
Nighttime
Monica showed me to the room i'll be staying and I was amazed by the room.
"Holy crap. This place is amazing." I said. "Well i'm glad you like for until you can find a place, you'll be staying here." Monica said. "Thank you Your Majesty." I said in a bow. "Don't bow please i hate it when people bow." Monica said confusing me so I forget it and let it be. "Well then goodnight." Monica said. "Goodnight." I said and took off my jacket and shoes and got into bed. It was quite comfortable. I fell asleep very quickly.
Monica's POV:
Robert seems like a kind person, also very brave, I think we'll be good friends for sure.
