Y/N: "I have considered what both the defendant and plaintiff have had to say and I find the defendant...", the angst in the courtroom builds up as the audience, the man who was wrongfully accused of stealing from his neighbour's house and his idiot neighbour who clearly hadn't thought his poor attempt to get money out of ruining an innocent man's life through, wait for the final verdict.
Y/N: "NOT guilty."
Idiot Neighbour: "Ugh, come on! We were so close!" the man foolishly exclaimed.
The innocent man: "Yes! Thank you, Lord. I live to see another day."
Y/N: "However," you continue... "The plaintiff is hereby found guilty for wrongfully accusing the defendant of theft." The audience gasps as they hear these shocking turn of events.
Y/N: "Your sentence, 1 year in prison. I declare this court adjourned." you knock the gavel twice.
Bailiff: "All Rise!" everyone in the courtroom stands as you are about to exit. The security guard then handcuffs the idiotic neighbour of the innocent man.
You are in your office when you realize you're running late for your Friday night blind date. You grab your things and rush to your car. You're speeding through traffic when you realize,
Y/N: "Shoot I left my wallet! Chivalry isn't totally dead right?" You don't go back for it and carry on driving until you arrive.

When you arrive you message the guy you were set to meet letting him know you were here. The man waves and calls out for you from the slightly less ambiently lit part of the restaurant. You can't fully make out his face but walk towards him anyways.
Y/N: "Hi, sorry to have kept you waiting." you say shakily.
Mystery Man: As he lifts his head, you instantly recognize him but keep your cool because you don't want to freak him out. "No worries, I just got here too." He smiles softly but seems quite taken aback that you didn't recognize who he was. Of course, you notice his expression and reaction too but continue with your act.
Y/N: "So, what's your name?"
J-Hope: "Oh!" he pauses. You think he might be contemplating whether he should tell you his stage or birth name. "It's Ho-Seok and yours?"
Y/N: "It's Y/N." you say nervously.
J-Hope: "No need to be nervous. Is it your first date?"
Y/N: "What makes you think that?" he gives you an 'It's pretty obvious' look and you instantly say "Nevermind. No, it isn't my first date. It's just been a while."
J-Hope: "Well, cheers to a new adventure." he says jokingly as he raises his glass of water towards you.
Y/N: "To a new adventure."
There's an awkward silence while you both decide what to order from the menu until you eventually decide to ask him where he was from and what he does for a living, despite already knowing the answers.
J-Hope: "Oh um... well I'm from South Korea and I'm part of a band. Nothing major really. What about you?" he asks as if he doesn't want to get into details.
Y/N: "I'm from originally from San Diego but moved here after college and I'm a lawyer. Which is why I was running late. It's a lame excuse but I'm really sorry for being late."
J-Hope: "Hey, don't worry. What's the craziest case you've ever had to adjudicate?"
The awkwardness, nerves, and shyness are all erased and the mood is instantly lightened.
Y/N: "Well there was this one time..." You and Ho-Seok talk for hours until you soon realize that it's getting late.
Y/N: "Shit! Hey, I'd hate to cut this short but I have a really hectic schedule tomorrow and..."
J-Hope: "That's fine. I do too." You then remember you left your wallet at home and start to panic but you see Ho-Seok pulling out his card which weirdly, calms you down.
After he pays, you both get up and he opens the door for you.
J-Hope: "I had a really fun time tonight." He says and you can tell that he genuinely means it which makes your heart race.
Y/N: "I did too. Hopefully, we do this again sometime. How long did you say you were in town for?"
J-Hope: "I leave next week Friday but if it's not too soon maybe we could meet up again before I head back home."
