So to all the people who draw themselves or their oc with wings (angel or demon doesn't matter) how the hell do you guys do it cuz I'm done messed up

Like I regret not drawing or learning wing anatomy before cuz the amount of times I had to redo them is insane And this all came at a huge cost
1. I can't feel my index finger, the one I use to draw with.
2. I wasted more than 3 hours of my life.
3. I listened to only one song (devils don't fly) on loop while drawing cuz I thought it fit the theme and now my ears are ringing.
4. I have loads of assignments left.
5. I want to sleep but I can't cuz my eyes are feeling tired but my body is energetic af.
Was it worth it, I don't know, probably not to be honest.
Ps- please anyone just teach me how wings work cuz I don't have a clue also I was gonna draw angel wings but they're way more difficult if you know anything about wings please give me some advise.
