"Amelia! Hurry up in there!" That was Ame shouting, from the other side of my door. "I'm coming!" I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. "Adrian says the camera crew has arrived and already set up at his place
"Baby sister, please come out. Are you getting cold feet already?"
I couldn't go out of my room looking like I did. I'd woken up to a bad start, and bad things just kept happening throughout the day. It one o'clock and after a whole morning of trying to make hair work it wouldn't. At that point it looked too straight and thin. Almost non-existant. "I can't come out Ame," I screamed, almost in tears. "Why?"
"My hair. . .it so. . . ugh!"
"Since when do you care about your hair?"
"Since. . .Adrian!"
"Well you won't even get him if you don't bring your arse out here!
"Tell him I'm sick or something. Tell him I'll do it some other time."
"Oh, baby sister. . .Hello. I don't know what to do anymore, Adrian, she won't come out. . . Yes I know time is money. . .okay. . ." Adrian was calling her? When did he get her number?
"Amelia, Adrian says that if you don't come out this second, he'll come carry you out."
"No he can't see me like this!" Since when was I so insecure?? This was so unlike me! "She says you can't see her like this," she reported to him. "Baby sister, please!" Amethyst was obviously excited about this arrangement. I'd never seen her so invested in anything that had to do with me. After a minute Amethyst stopped nagging, leaving me feeling lonely.

I pulled my hair up in a messy bun. Sigh. It couldn't even look messy enough. Then I heard a knock, which I knew wasn't Amethyst. "Amelia?"
No! Adrian?? "Amelia, open this door, right now." He knocked again. "I won't hesitate to break it down. I'm going to count to three." I rolled my eyes, not falling for it. "One. . .Two. . ."
"Amelia he's really doing it!" Amethyst shouted. "What? Adrian stop, I'll open."

Adrians's P.o.V

Slowly, she opened the door. Her sister burst in and started talking, "Amelia, why would you put us through all this, I don't get it!" Amelia, just looked at the floor and did that cute thing with her fingers. "Amethyst, could you leave us for a moment?" She looked at me, Amelia, then back at me before walking out and closing the door behind her. She looked up at me nervously. "I look horrible. You probably wouldn't recognise me if we met on the street," she said quietly, like she was about to cry. The nervous wreck in front of me was nothing like her. Normally, Amelia was the type of person who had everything under control. Seeing her this fragile, gave me a new side to learn and love. I walked towards her and pulled her into a hug. She stiffened her body slightly, then melted into me. We stood like that for a few minutes before I drew away and cupped her face. "You're beautiful, baby. I don't care how your hair looks. We all have flaws and I want you. . .and all of your flaws." She laughed through her tears. "What?"
"I just realised that I'm not perfect. I tried so hard all my life. . .and ended up miserable because of it. I'm not perfect, Adrian. And it feels so good not to be, for once." The tears, had turned into joyful ones. I wiped her tears and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. "I don't wanna do the shoot just yet." She gave me a "what?" look. "Don't they charge hourly?"
"I think I can afford another hour, princess."
"Oh, you totally can." She said as it clicked, that she was marrying a billionaire. Atleast now I knew for sure that she wasn't doing this for the money.

I stayed with her, in her bed, until she fell asleep. She was still Amelia, however, and wanted to wake up and do the photoshoot. I managed to talk her into another '30 minute nap' which turned into a deep peaceful slumber. I thought she needed the rest, which she lacked due to her dedication to pleasing her parents.

"Hello, Walter. Tell the photographers to leave we won't be needing them today." I was walking down the hall, when I met a male who gave me a cold stare. "So you're the asshole, who's fucking my sister."
"Your sister?"
"Amelia, dammit."
"Oh. I don't think it's any of your business what I do with your sister." So this was the brother who despised me. "Really?" He laughed bitterly. . .apparently that was supposed to scare me. "Then I suggest that you leave her alone. Don't call her, don't text her and don't even think about coming here."
"And what if I don't leave her? What will you do about it?"
"Some dumbass broke her heart last year. . .he's still missing." He walked away, after basically confessing murder/kidnapping to me. Dumb move.
