Friend vs. Friend

You and the Ninja are out at breakfast and Cole and Jay are on the line yelling at each other. You are about to intervene when Jay and Cole leave the line. They start pushing each other and then Jay drops is plate of creamy biscuits. They continue to yell at each other, but you finally intervene.

Y/N: "Guys, stop. We aren't here to fight each other. We are here to find Zane.", you say with a stern look.

Jay: " Y/N's right, Cole. We should stop fighting. But when this tournament is over we're gonna settle this once and for all.", he said a bit of anger in his tone.

With Chen and Clouse

Clouse: "Master, the intruders of the first ceremony. They were the Ninja and the Master of Lava. I suspect Garmadon was an old friend of him.", he said with no emotion.

Chen: "I know Clousey Clouse. Lets change this up a little bit.", he said with an evil smirk.

Back to you and the Ninja  

Chen(P.A.):" The next match will be the Master of Lightning vs the Master of Earth.

Jay: "Wait what?! I thought we were in different brackets!", he said confused about versing Cole.

Cole: "You cheated! You changed the brackets!", he said yelling at Clouse.

Clouse: "Master wanted to change things up a bit.", he said while smirking. 

Y/N: " Oh when I get my hands on you...rah.", you scream out in rage. The ground starts to rumble and get hotter.m

Skylor: "Don't worry I bet you can find a way to keep them in N/N.", she said kissing your cheek. You then calm down before erupting.

Garmadon: "You must both stay in the tournament. Although from what you told me, one of you might need to lose in order to find Zane.

 Jay: "Eh whatever. This is where we end this feud for good.", he said with confidence while glaring at Cole. 

Cole: "Agreed. This is where it ends.", he said glaring back at Jay.

Lloyd: "Maybe you don't have to fight each other.", he said trying to figure out a plan.

Y/N: "Lloyd might be onto something here. If we can find a way to see what Clouse and Chen are doing with the elemental powers, we could tell the other masters and ask them to help us.

Kai: "Yeah, but how?", he said.

Lloyd: "I think I know just the person.", he said smiling.

Later that night

You, the Ninja and Skylor are outside walking towards Neuro, the Master of Mind. He is sitting on top of a rock. He comes down when he see you guys.

Neuro: "Hello ninja. What do you want from me.", he said calmly.

Lloyd: "We need you to help us.", he said with a bit of worry in his voice.

Neuro: "Why would I help you. You are competition. The less of you there are, the better a chance for me.", he said.

Y/N: " Either help us or get your power stolen, take your pick!", you said getting even more angry. Skylor helps keep you calm. 

Neuro: "What!? I would not appreciate my powers being stolen!
So what can I do to help.", he said with sarcasm.

Y/N: "Ugh, I told you guys this would be a waste of time.", you say beginning to walk back to the temple.

Lloyd: " Y/N, wait.", he says as you turn around. "Neuro, read my mind and it will prove that our powers are being taken.", he said.

Neuro looks into his head and sees Lloyd's memory of Karlof's powers being stolen. He comes back to reality and gasps.

Neuro: "You weren't lying. He will steal our powers.", he said, eyes open wide.

Kai: "Yeah so, can you help us?", he said calmly.

Neuro: "Yes, I will. Just tell me what you need.", he said.

Lloyd: "We need you to see what Chen is doing with the stolen powers.

Neuro: "Got it. I'll go check now.", he said reassuringly.

With Neuro 

He was walking around the room filled with kabuki. He came across a book. It looked like it had two snakes biting on their tails. It then had claws on each corner. 

He went up to the book and opened it. He flipped through the pages.

Neuro: " Powers, powers, there. Page 149. He needs our powers to cast a spell.", he said. Just when he was about to read more Clouse came in.

Clouse: "What are you doing in here. Why are you snooping around?", he said.

Neuro: "I was exploring the temple. But no, I wasn't snooping. I'm the Master of Mind",just as he said that he read Clouse's mind, "I know better than that.", he continued. He than left the room and ran back to You and the Ninja.

Neuro: "Clouse has a spell ready but I didn't have the chance to read it. All I know is that its on page 149.", he said panting.

Lloyd: "Thank you Neuro, you have been a great help.", he said putting his hand on Neuro's shoulder.

 Neuro: "Glad i could help.", he said.

The Next Day

Jay and Cole are in cages training for their match with each others face on a punching bag.

Jay: "You steal Nya. Then you break our friendship. Then you start this feud.", he said while grunting in between each punch. Then he uses his powers on the punching bag and makes it explode with Cole's face slightly buried. He looks at the picture in sadness.

With Cole

Cole: "You broke our friendship. Then you blame me for stealing Nya. Then you start this feud.", he said while grunting between each punch. Then he uses his powers and destroys the punching bag with Jay's face on the ground a bit torn up. He looks at it in sadness.

With everyone

The match is about to start and the cages start to open. Then this happens.

Chen: "Jay Master of Lightning vs. Cole Master of-.", he gets cut off by Jay and Cole already fighting. Then this happened.

Chen: "I see what you are trying to do! If neither of you will win, then both of you will LOSE!!!", he said as he starts pressing buttons on his chair and then the floor begins to come apart. Jay and Cole jump around the falling tiles. 

Cole: "Jay, go for the jade blade! You need to stay in the tournament!", he says.

Jay: "Cole, no. You go for it.", he said

Cole runs for the pillar to get the blade. He grabs the blade but before he wins he throws it to Jay. Jay catches it and gasps.

Chen: " Winner!!!", he said looking at Jay, "Loser!!!" he said looking at Cole.

Cole: "Sorry Jay, I should have backed out of this tournament a while ago." He says as he. Then Chen presses a button on his chair and the tile Cole was on falls.

Cole: "Woah!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh." he screams as he fell down the tunnel.

Up in the crowd.

Y/N: "No! I should have helped them!", you start to tear up. Skylor comforts you.

Skylor: "Its ok. It wasn't your fault.", she said.

Y/N: "I'll be in my room.", you say almost emotionless. You walk out of the arena and back to your room in sadness.

Lloyd: "I hope Y/N will be alright.", he said watching you leave.

Garmadon: "He will be fine, but anyway today is an important lesson. Know thine enemy, but more importantly, know thy friend. Cole fought like a true ninja today.", he said.
