CHAPTER 5: What's My Fault?

M! Countdown Waiting Room

"Sowonnie, here a bouquet for you."
Said manager while hand her a bouquets of tulips.
Sowon smile, she know already this from Wonwoo. Yeah, Seventeen also made their comeback this month.
Sowon take a look at the card, and her smile fade away.
This bouquet is not from Wonwoo. It is from..

"Congrats on your comeback, Sunrise really a good song and you look so pretty with that hair colour. Meet me at hallway level 3, 4pm."

Sowon take a look at manager, but manager didn't say anything to her. Does manager know?

"Yeojachingu, get ready in 10minutes"

said the director. Sowon place the bouquet at the sofa, and she kept the greetings card inside her pockets.
"Girl's let's go." Said Sowon and all of them get out from their waiting room heading to back stage.

"Thank you for your hard work."

Said GFriend and bow to all staff at backstage. they finished their live performance, now waiting for the result at the end of music show.
Sowon already forgotten about chanyeol's card. While GFriend heading to their waiting room, someone grab Sowon's hands and drag her out from GFriend members and their staff. Nobody notice that because Sowon walk far behind from them.

Sowon startled at first. She trying to get her hand out from Chanyeol's grip.
"Sunbae let off my hand please." Said Sowon. But Chanyeol just ignore her words and drag her to emergency stairs.
Sowon eyes began to water. The trauma of falling at emergency stairs still remain in her memory. Chanyeol still didn't let off her hand.

"Sunbae, let off my hand. Why you drag me here." Said Sowon.
"i want to confess to you, i love you and i want you to be my girlfriend."
Said Chanyeol
"What are you talking about. Let off my hand."
"No until you answer yes"
"Are you crazy?"
"Yes i'm crazy because of you." Said Chanyeol and he hug Sowon tightly.
Sowon start crying and push Chanyeol really hard but no matter how hard she try, her energy didn't work to push Chanyeol away.
"Can't you be my girlfriend Sowonnie?"
Ask Chanyeol.
Sowon didn't answer and just cry.
"Somebody help me." Said Sowon loudly.
Chanyeol shut Sowon's mouth with his hand.
"Just said yes and i'll let you go."
Said Chanyeol.
Sowon try to move but she afraid both of them would fall form stairs. She drag Chanyeol at door and try to escape but Chanyeol hold her really tight.
Chanyeol began to hold at her neck and start to kissing her cheeks and her lips.
Sowon cry really hard and trying to push Chanyeol away from her but failed.

Suddenly Chanyeol's phone ringing and he let off Sowon to pick up the call.
"where are you? you said you want to go to toilet. come here now,  ads ended in 5minutes."
Said Chanyeol's manager.
Sowon sitting on the floor. She can't feel her legs. To weak to standing on her own. Still crying and startled at Chanyeol sudden action. Chanyeol need to go, because right now is his turn to MCing.
"We're not done yet. Let's meet later."
Said Chanyeol and he move out from emergency stairs.
Sowon cry really hard. What is her fault? Why everyone is hurting her? Where did she do the wrong?

Chanyeol rushing at the hallway, not far from emergency stairs. He bumped into Seventeen Jeonghan who is just done with Seventeen comeback stage.
"Oh, i'm sorry sunbaenim."
Said Jeonghan then bow at Chanyeol.
Chanyeol didn't reply him but rushing heading to backstage.
Jeonghan notice how rushing he is, so he just ignore him and didn't take into heart about what just happen.
Jeonghan walk passing the emergency stairs and he just hearing a sound of woman crying.
He stop in front of emergency door. He push the door and take a look at emergency stairs.

Dark and really creepy. Jeonghan notice a woman at the floor. He rush to get her even he didn't know who it is and what actually happen to her.
"Excuse me, are you okay?"
Ask jeonghan.
Sowon lift up her head when she confirmed that is not Chanyeol's voices.
Jeonghan really shocked seing Sowon in that state. What is she doing here? is she fall from stairs? Or did she want a time alone by herself. or... Chanyeol sunbaenim?
A question without answer lingering in his mind.
"Oppa" Said Sowon still crying.
Jeonghan observe at Sowon condition, her hair is messy, her lipstick, she didn't seat properly, her neck and her wrist is showing a bruise.
Checkmate. He already know the answer.
He just bump into Chanyeol sunbaenim. It must be Chanyeol or other but Chanyeol sunbaenim is the suspect for now.

"Get up, let me help you" Said Jeonghan and he helping Sowon get up.
Sowon didn't say anything but just standing following Jeonghan.
Jeonghan hold Sowon shoulder and walk out from emergency stairs with her.
Let me take you to your waiting room.
"No, i want to go to washroom."
Said Sowon.

Sowon get into washroom while Jeonghan waiting for her at the hallway.
Sowon stand in front of the mirror. Facing herself. She began to cry.
"Clam down Sowon, stay calm."
She said to herself in order to stop crying.
She wash her face. but still can't stop crying. her tears flow really hard.
After a few minutes, Sowon manage to control herself. She make sure her face didn't show any sign of crying. She tidy up her hair, and walk to go out form toilet.

"Are you okay?" Ask Jeonghan when he see Sowon out from washroom.
"Oppa, please keep this as secret."
Ask Sowon
"Who did this to you?"
Ask Jeonghan concern.
"Please pretend you didn't meet me. I don't want to remember anyting."
Sowon walk away from Jeonghan, heading to GFriend waiting room.
"Let me company you" Said Jeonghan
He won't ask for more if that was what Sowon want.
Sowon nodded. Yes she want to keep this as secret, but she can't deny that she really need someone to company her. She felt really scared right now.
Being 'dragged' now being her new trauma.
