~Chapter 2~

Years Later Moana is now 16 

I was watching Moana while she was trying to get past the reef, but she failed which destroyed the canoe and Moana was stuck under the water

I didn't really do something, since she needs to understand some dangers being out there on the ocean when I am not around. As she finally got out of where she was stuck, she swam up to the broken canoe.

I finally decided to do something and push her to the shore Moana looked at the foot that was stuck suddenly I saw Tala coming out of the bushes and just stood there admiring the shipwreck Moana made

and exclaimed, " whatever just happened... Blame it on the pig " Moana immediately stood up and covered her hurt foot with her ankle, but Tala already saw it, she grabbed her walking stick and pulled Moana's foot up with it.

And started inspecting the wound, Moana looked at her grandma and asked, " are you going to tell dad... "

Tala looked up at Moana and answered, " i'm his mother, I don't have to tell him anything "

Moana turned to the sea and stated, " he was right about going out there "

Moana looked away from the ocean and looked at a mountain instead and continued, " It's time to put my stone on the mountain "

Tala looked up at the mountain and looked back at Moana with curiousness plastered on her face then she exclaimed

" Okay, well then head on back " Tala pushed her walking stick in the sand and walked over to the water while saying

" put that stone up there " manta rays came swimming towards her and started to circle around her as Moana wanted to walk away but turned back to her grandma and asked

" why aren't you trying to talk me out of it " Tala was dancing while the manta rays were still circling around her, she answered

" you said that's what you wanted " Moana added

" it is " Moana turned around and walked away but after a few steps Tala exclaimed

" when I die I am going to come back as one of these " while gesturing to the manta rays she continued

" or I chose the wrong tattoo " Moana watched her grandma and asked

" why are you acting weird " Tala was still dancing and answered

" i'm the village crazy lady that's my job " Moana got a little frustrated and said

" If there is something you want to tell me, just tell me!... "

" Is there something you want to tell me? " Tala stopped dancing and turned around to face Moana and asked.

" Is there something you want to hear? "

Moana was a bit speechless by this, so she just stood there, suddenly Tala started to walk somewhere with Moana following her. Luckily I could follow them, but they were on a cliff, and I was in the water, which was a bummer.

I started to lose interest in what they were saying,

suddenly I hear Moana shouting, " we were voyagers! We were voyagers!! We were voyagers!!! "

" Why'd we stop? " I could hear Tala say Maui's name and I knew where this was going, so I stood ready for a surprise, Tala started to talk again and exclaimed.

" When he stole from the mother island, darkness fell. "

" Te'Ka awoke. Monsters lurked and boats stopped coming back. "

" To protect our people the ancient chiefs forbid voyaging, and now we have forgotten who we are. "

" And the darkness had continued to spread chasing away our fish, draining the life from island after island " Moana suddenly added

" our island " Tala continued

" But one day someone will journey beyond our reef to find Maui, deliver him across the great ocean to restore the heart of Te'Fiti... "

" I was there that day the ocean chose you " I rose up from the water in my water form (.aka. a wave)

Moana muttered, " I- I thought it was a dream "

Tala backed up a bit as I swirled, went back into the water before jumping out, making water fall onto Moana,

I stood in front of her as she moved her wet hair out of her face and saw me standing in front of her and exclaimed

" Nope " she stared at me and asked

" Who are you? " I smiled and said.

" i'm (y/n) and i'm a Demi-Goddess and good friends with your grandmother " I saw Moana stare at me in awe. It was pretty funny if I say so my self it was quiet for a solid five seconds before I broke it and explained.

" You might wanna listen to your grandma "

" I don't think she's quite done yet " Moana nodded and turned back to her grandma Tala continued

" Our ancestors believed Maui lies there at the bottom of his hook follow it, and you will find him " Moana looked down and asked

" But why would it choose me? I don't even know how to make it past the reef... "

" But I know who does! " Moana sprinted off and Tala called me over to her and asked.

"(y/n) will you please take care of Moana "

" make sure she doesn't get hurt " I smiled and replied

" of course I will Tala " we gave each other a warm smile as she told me it was best to wait for Moana in the water

I nodded in response and waved goodbye before jumping into the water and quickly dissolving into liquid

I waited for Moana to come, soon enough I saw her boat and a big glowing manta ray and I knew it was Tala

I turned back into my normal body and stroked the manta on its back I quickly went to Moana's canoe and stayed in the water.
