A life story "guard X Reader" read description

A wonderful night.

Gunners POV

He was a bit shocked and happy to hear the words come from her which it meant a lot knowing someone does actually care for the guards. He knows not a lot of staff don't really pay much mind to us guards or ever care to realize we have feelings to but anyways, he thought that tonight was a pretty fun night hanging out with (y/n). She knew how to make one happy but not in a weird way. He chuckled lightly.

"Hey uh, the cafeteria is still open. Would you like to go get a snack or something?? It's on me."
He looked down and waited for a response.

"Yea sure, I usually thought the cafeteria would be closed knowing it's 11:35 at night."
She replied with a smile.

They would walk together and talk about their day and whatever else. Soon they reached the cafeteria and he saw she was a bit spooked and asked her what was wrong.

"It's nothing, just thought I saw something."

She lightly chuckled it off but knew he'd find it weird if she told him she saw the same guy from the dream she had a while ago.

He was a bit hesitant about that and had let it go for now. Soon he'd get himself something small and saw her grab some kola crackers with the chocolate inside them. Seeing that he wondered if those were her favorite snack.

(Y/N) POV

Grabbing my kola crackers, I'd set myself down with him as he brought water with us. Soon Thanking him for the drinks and the night that was spent with him, seeing him nod and told her "It's appreciated" as they both smiled and had a good laugh every once in a while during their conversation.

Soon seeing it's 12 at night she got up and asked if he could walk her back to her containment as he nodded and followed. Noting he still had a gun and a knife hidden away just for back up when time comes. Half way to her containment we heard the heavy boots come running at us as it was a CD which had her spooked and Gunners fast reflex he quickly turned and used his combat knife on the CD to soon see him drop to the floor gasping for air.

The janitors came around and helped clean after Gunner had put him out of his miserable pain. Which it was hard to see but it had to be done.
