Sucking on my lollipop, I walk down the halls of Jeguk High School. I open my locker and toss my book bag in there when I hear the sound of girls gossiping. I grab my books and make my way towards the sound of commotion.

Not that I was surprised, but I saw Young do standing over the new girl. Eun-sang. Ever since she came to this school, drama has been starting. And the worst part about it is that she isn't the one starting it. It's Rachel and other girls who envy the fact that Tan likes her and not them.

There is nothing more annoying than jealous girls wanting to be petty. "Young do, what are you doing?" "What's it look like?" "It looks like you being a douche bag for no reason." I walk passed him and give her a hand. She took it and helped herself up.

She had food all over her uniform and I gave her my jacket to change into instead. "Thank you." I nod and she runs into the bathroom. I spin around and hit Young do on his shoulder. He grunts in pain and says, "What was that for?" "Stop being such an asshole, Young do."

"Come on, we're going to class." "But—" I grab his ear and drag him behind me, making the crowd giggle. Once Young do gave them a look, they stopped laughing immediately.

I push him into the classroom and say, "Sit down." "You're not my mother." "Clearly I am because you're acting like a child." "Now sit down before I grab your ear again." I add. He touches his ear in pain and grumbles as he sits down.

"Hi," a girl says. I turn around and see Eun-sang. "Hey, you okay?" "Yeah, thanks to you." "Hey, keep your dog on a leash." Tan says as he stands between me and Eun-sang. "Excuse me?" "The next time he even looks at her, I'll punch him in the throat." "You mean like I did to you?" I snark.

Tan steps forward and in the blink of an eye, Young-do is in front of me. "Leave her out of this." "I was going to say the same thing about Eun-sang." "She isn't what Y/N is to me, and you know it." "Yeah, you're right. She's better."

Young do balls up his fists and I decided to step in. "He's not worth getting suspended for, do." I pull his arm and he glances at me. He finally gives in and I drag him out of the school. "Wait!" Eun-sang calls. I stop and she gives me her phone. "What's this?" "We should talk. You seem like a good friend to have."

"Hey, she's mine." Young do intrudes. I slap his chest and he groans. "You're getting more abusive lately." "And you're getting more stupid." I nudge him before typing my number in her phone. I wave to her before leaving the school.

Later that day, I got a text from Eun-sang saying, "How are you friends with him?" "It's actually a pretty interesting story." She says. "He was trying to bully me at first, but then I kicked his ass. And when I saw someone else pick on him, I kicked their ass. And he did the same thing for me."

"But how can you deal with all of.. that?" "I knock some sense into him. Multiple times." She sends laugh emojis and I laugh out loud. "What are you laughing at?" Young do asks. "None of your business," "Are you texting her? Let me see." "No,"

Young do jumps on the bed and climbs over me to get to my phone. I tickle him and he falls off of the bed. I giggle as I run around the room with Young do chasing me, like the little kid I am.
