I looked at the fire department garage sitting in front of me as I picked up my 2-year-old Sadie. This was the first time meeting the people my dad worked with, people who were his family for the longest time now. "Ready to see paps baby girl?" I asked smiling at Sadie as she nodded her little head excitedly. I took a deep breath as I walked up slowly walking up the stairs I caught sight of who I am certain is Christopher sitting at the table with the rest of them as Dad cooked. I smiled when Buck looked my way "hey can we help you miss?" he asked causing everyone including dad to look my way "yeah actually I was wondering if any of you knew Bobby Nash" I asked smiling at Dad. "Honey I didn't know you were coming to visit!" he said excitedly rushing over to me and Sadie hugging us both "I know daddy that was kind of the point," I said watching the others stand up starting to get the situation. "Y/n this is-" I cut him off "wait! Let me guess!" I said excitedly handing him Sadie "Hen, Chim, Buck, Eddie, and you must be Christopher," I smiled at the little boy "Hi prince charming," I said causing him to giggle and say "daddy she called me prince charming" as he tugged on Eddie's sleeve "yeah bud she did," he said smiling. "You must be the famous Y/n we've heard a lot about you," Hen said smiling at me "yeah I've heard a lot about you guys too" I replied with a smile.
We had all sat down and started eating "hey you hungry?" Dad asked as he made himself a plate "no daddy thank you. Sadie got hangry so we stopped somewhere our way here" I replied sitting Sadie in my lap "how old is she?" Buck asked making faces at the baby "2 in march" I said smiling as she giggled. "She's adorable," Eddie said "thank you. hey dad? I don't remember you telling anything about the attractive men you work with?" I said looking at dad as he sat down causing both Buck and Eddie to look at each other with shocked faces. "Oh!" Hen said, smiling causing Chim to laugh. "Huh?" dad choked out "which one of us?" Buck asked smirking "oh baby you're super cute you just aren't my type," I said taking a drink of water. Eddie looked at me "she thinks dad's cute Chris" Buck said "She likes dad" Chris said laughing causing Eddie to blush and the rest of us to laugh. The siren went off causing all of them to groan and get up rushing down the stairs "hey do I hate asking this but in like 5 minutes his nanny is picking him up and-" Eddie said "I got him, now go be a hero" I said causing him to smile and run downstairs "be safe!".
Sadie and I were playing on one of the benches when the firetruck pulled up and they all hopped out of it. "Ahh!" Sadie held onto me as she stood up excitedly looking at them. "Hey princesa," Eddie said causing me and Sadie both to smile "how'd it go?" I said looking at Eddie seeing as the rest of them rushed off to the showers I assume. "Good how was Chris?" He asked sitting next to me "he's perfect" I replied smiling causing him to smile. "Thanks, he's my special boy," Eddie said, "what's your story with Chris? Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine" I said putting Sadie on my lap. "Well uh I was in the military and his mom was alone, one day when I woke up she was gone and I was left with my 6-year-old son alone, so I moved here she came back and then she... She died" he said fast "That sucks I'm sorry" I rubbed his back "Andrew, my fiance was a cop and one day during a shootout he uh got shot and then I found out I was pregnant, moved to San Diego and now I am moving back but don't tell my dad yet," I Said fixing Sadie's hair. "Let's change the subject," he said standing up and taking off his jacket and putting it in his locker. "Whoa," I said looking at his arms like damn look at those things. I'm assuming he caught me starring seeing the smile grow on his face "what?" he asked "nothing!" I said standing up. "Do me a favor? Tell dad I love him and I'll see him tonight. Athena is throwing me a welcome home party, I'd love if you'd come" I said putting Sadie's toys away with the help of Eddie "can't wait" Eddie replied.
< a Few hours later at Athena's house>
I smiled watching May play with Sadie over the years May and I have gotten very close causing her relationship with Sadie to become very important to the both of us. "Hey, sweetheart Eddie just arrived with Buck and Chris, thought you'd like to know," Athena said winking at me causing me to laugh a little "thanks, Athena, I'll go say hi" I responded walking to the three boys as they entered the backyard. "Hey prince charming," I said smiling at Chris causing him to smile "c'mon Buddy let's go get something to drink," Buck said leading Chris away as he winked at Eddie causing me to laugh and Eddie to blush. "Hi" I smiled at him "hey" Eddie responded smiling back "where's the baby girl?" he asked looking around "she's playing with May," I said as he nodded "Ya know I was wondering" Eddie sat on the steps. "Wondering what?" I said sitting next to him "would you wanna go out on a date?" he asked giving me a soft smile. "That sounds lovely"
