Christmas is all about God's "WRATH" or Holy Anger.
Why was God angry? Because of our sin. He hates sin.
Why does He hates sin? Because He is holy, righteous, & good.
All of us deserve to die & absorb God's holy anger. BUT Jesus took our punishment & absorbed God's holy anger, even though He DID NOT deserve it.
Jesus NEVER sinned. He was NOT guilty. Yet He suffered & died as the substitute recipent of God's holy anger on sinners.
(Please read John 3:36)And how will we respond to this Good News of salvation?
God loves us so much (John 3:16) & He proved His love by sending His Son Jesus to die as the substitute recipient of His holy anger on sinners (Rom. 5:8; 1 John 4:10).
Shouldn't we trust Jesus? Shouldn't we love Him & live for Him everyday?
Jesus is more important than anything or anyone in this world. That's why we love Jesus because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). This is true Christmas! Jesus is King!
