Trying to heal

Annie's Pov
It's been a few weeks and I've gotten better and I'm going home today. I'm excited to go home but on the other hand I don't know how we are going to explain to hazel about the baby. I still hurts my heart every time I think about it. Anyway Johnny is here helping me get everything ready to go. Then the nurse came in and helped us get to the car. I got in the car and waited for Johnny to get in. He got in and started the car. Right before he started to drive he looked at me and held my hand.
20 minutes later
Johnny's Pov
I notice Annie start to fall asleep. All I could think about was the baby and how Annie feels right now. I rub my thumb on her hand. She looks at me and smiles. I smile back and she lays her head on the window. I look back at the road and drive home.

35 minutes later
I turned the car off and looked at Annie.she was still asleep so I got out and went to the passenger side. I open the door and pick her up. I carry her into the house. When I opened the door I hear hazel and Lauren playing. I take Annie to our room and lay her down. I cover her up and kiss her on the forehead. I leave the room and get the bags out of the car before letting hazel know I'm home.When I was done getting the bags to Mine and Annie's room I walked to the play room quietly and saw Lauren playing barbies with hazel. Lauren looked back and saw me and smiled. I snuck up to hazel and picked her up.
H-ahhhhhh
I laugh.
J-hi princess.
H-daddy! I missed you!
J-I missed you too.
H-were mommy?
J-mommy's taking a nap.
H-she wate up soon?
J-yea.
H-ok I pay dolls now.
J-ok
I laughed at her. She went back to her doll house and continued playing. Lauren came over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged her back.and pulled away.
L-how is Annie?
J-I think she's ok but it's really hard right now.
L-yea. Well when Annie's awake I have a surprise.
J-oh god what is it?
L-nothing bad.
J-ok good.
Lauren's and I laugh a little.
Annie's Pov
I woke up and look around and noticed I'm in my bed. I got up still a little sore and walked out of my room. I head Johnny Lauren and hazel all talking in the living room. I walk in and lean against the wall. I watched hazel play with two dolls that she brought out. I walked towards hazel and sat next to her.
A-hey can I play?
She looked at me and hugged me
H-mommy! Your awake! I missed you!
A-I missed you to baby.
H-can you play with me?
A-first I want to talk to aunt lo lo first.
H-otay
I got up and sat on the couch next to Johnny and snuggled up next to him. He put his arm around me. It reminded me of when we were younger.
L-hey Ann's
I smiled at her
A-hey
L-how are you?
A-I'm ok.
L-that's good.
J-I'm going to call and order some pizza for dinner tonight?
H-pizza!
A-yea ok
