CHAPTER 1- Son Chaeyoung

FLASHBACK ENDED

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

I'm still appalled of what happened 17 years ago, I don't remember everything, my parents just told me that sometimes, I'm being angry without reason. They even told me not to get out of our house because people told them that I am scary because of my emotional trigger. 5 years ago, my parents died in a car crash, they investigators said that it's really weird because the car was bumped into a tree near the cliff but has no damaged, and my parents has no wounds and injuries based on autopsy, until now there's no suspect for what happened to my parents, but eventually, I forget about it and move on.

I'm stirring this cup of milk now for about 30 minutes, and my face is just clueless. I hear a bumping hand to the table and milk is poured onto my shirt, ewww. "Yah! Son Chaeyong we're now late for work, you keep staring at the window every morning, what's wrong with you??" My sister shouts at me, Nayeon-unnie. "Come on, fix yourself and we're going now!"

Nayeon-unnie's voice is so noisy, but not annoying, she's not really my sister, she's just my only family left that I live with after my parents died. I appreciate her so much because she takes care of me for 2 years now, she didn't bother having a boyfriend because she's taking responsibility of me, that's why I love her so much. I admit I had a crush on her, because of her pure heart and visuals despite of her 25 years old age, but I forget all of that instead I treated her like my real sister.

FLASHBACK

"Shhhh, stop crying now Chaeyoung~". Nayeon exclaimed, I was having a nightmare and I can't help but to cry, "Can you tell me what was your nightmare all about?" Nayeon softly ask me, I decided to tell to decrease my fear and anxiety. "u-unnie.. they're getting m-my h-heart.." I replied. Nayeon's face says it all, she's confused, "I-I'm telling the truth unnie.." I replied sobbing and my tears fall down again, Nayeon place my head on her chest and pat my back for comfort. "I believed you Chaeyoung, enough crying now, no one will hurt you okay? Unnie is here to protect you". I can feel her smile in her face. We ended up sleeping together in her bed to ease my fear.

FLASHBACK ENDED

We're now on our way to work riding a bus, we're on the back but it's just us who occupied the space, I sat near the windows to the right for some view. I'm a just an employee encoding some articles for the journalist and I'm doing that 5 hours, every day, sometimes exhausting, but worth it for the salary, Nayeon-unnie's work is a speaker and promoter of the upcoming news and books that's published online.

*RING* Nayeon-unnie picks her phone and I'm looking at her the entire phone call. "Good morning this is Im Nayeon, how may I help you? Ah sir, what's wrong?" Nayeon's speaking is so fruity, I'm impressed of her dedication and passion to her work, no wonder she likes this job.

"A new employee?". I raised my eyebrows when I heard the word "new employee" It's been a year and a half since we work to the company, and this is the first time we gonna encounter a new employee, nice. "Okay sir, we'll assess them later, okay sir thank you~". Nayeon's being joyful after the call. "Why are you so happy unnie?" I questioned. "Ah, It's just, I'm happy that our boss gave us the right to assess the new workers, isn't it wonderful??". Nayeon exclaimed. "Wait, including me?" I asked. "of course you're the head of the encoding team so I'm gonna let you to be with me to assess the new workers, ah I need to be beautiful for them." Nayeon took out her lipstick and her mirror. She looks into herself, "Gosh, you're so gorgeous~". She winks at the mirror and looks at me and I'm bit confused, haha. She really loves herself. Sometimes it's annoying.

TIMESKIP

We're now arrived at the building of our company, Nayeon's being excited to see the new employees, she told me that they are 3 persons, okay I can't also wait. I saw the staffs at the lobby and greet them it's so pleasant to greet my co-workers every day. "Anneyeong!" I waved a hand to every one who greets me. I feel refreshed. I heard their whispers and compliments.
