Hennessy, plenty weed, do you have anything stronger? I don't care, give it here. Wanna make this high last longer - Jhene Aiko

|YOELLIE|

"Please, don't." Cory held Yoellie back. She was fuming with rage. He knew what levels of anger she could reach, and he didn't need her getting there.

"No! I'm going to kill that bitch. I told you I'm not playing. She's the reason WE don't have OUR fucking child. This bitch walking around here like she a queen or something because she had your first child. I don't give a fuck about her. That bitch is dead to me," she screamed over his shoulder.

Raven was behind him with her arms crossed acting like she was doing something, with a smirk on her face. She hated Yoellie just as much as Yoellie hated her. She knew that being around Cory would push Yoellie over the edge, but she couldn't deny that Cory and Yoellie's relationship bothered her on a completely different level.

"Ashae, please baby. Just let her go," Cory begged Yoellie to not kill his child's mother. He knew this would end one way, but he didn't want to feel guilty later on for not trying to stop it.

"Cory, if you don't move, I will stab you," Yoellie said through clenched teeth.

"I'm begging you. Please don't do this," he asked. Yoellie pulled out her knife and he quickly backed away.

"Whoa! She's going to kill me. Crazy bitch." Raven didn't look so big and bad now.

"You deserve to die! You had to make it your business to ruin my relationship with Cory. Y'all were done. You were a quick fuck and your old dumbass tried to trap him. He was mine. I was fucking pregnant with his child, and you took it upon yourself to stab me. Payback is a bitch." Yoellie charged at her, but she ran towards the living room to leave his house. Yoellie lifted her arm to throw the knife at Raven's head, but Cory stopped her.

"No, Ashae!"

"Cory! Get off of me." She struggled to get out of his grip, but he wasn't letting up. If he did, she would have probably started stabbing him.

"It's not going to help! That's Lil Cory's mother. You want me to explain to my son that his mother was killed? He's eight, Shae. Come on." She looked at Cory and he looked genuinely hurt.

"Are you still with her?"

"No! The only thing between Raven and I is our child. I told you, after what she did, I wanted to kill her myself. I still do, but he's the only thing stopping me. Yo, I wanted that child. I wanted to have a family with you. Shit, I still do. The only reason it wouldn't work is because you won't get over what she did, and she's a part of my life whether I want her to be or not. If you won't let her live because I asked, then do it for my little man. He doesn't know what type of evil person she is and I don't want to throw her under the bus with him."

Yoellie slid down the wall and started crying. She hadn't cried since she was fifteen, and woke up in the hospital with knowledge that her baby didn't make it. That moment in her life turned her cold-hearted. She hadn't shed a tear in six years, and the fact that she couldn't kill Raven while finally in her presence, was heart breaking.

"She would've been six this year," Yoellie said through tears. "My baby would've been six."

"I know." Cory sat down next to her and held her. He kissed the top of her head. He didn't know what to do or what else to say. He was hurt seeing her so hurt, but also relieved that she let Raven live. She never let a kill slip from her hand. If she was out to kill someone, it was a done deal. Sure enough she'd killed a ton of people who had children, but none of them had Cory to save their ass. Raven was lucky.
