Greg follows the officer. He slowly follows officer Greg into the dark room. Greg's eyes slowly adjust to the dark and what he sees is horrible. He sees two bodies, bloody and bruised with eyes open and blood all over the walls. He whisper yells, "Officer Greg what is this?!" Officer Greg looks around the room and stops next to one of the bodies. "This is what happens when you break the rules."
He pulls back the bloody sheet and shows Greg a man whose arm is missing. Greg then hugs the police officer and feels relieved. "See. I told you they were here." Greg says to him. "Why would you do that???" Officer Greg asks. Greg smoothly replied, "I was scared and you comfort me" "Ahhh, I see. You wanted to be comforted. It's ok." Officer Greg pulls him into another hug.
Greg hugs him back. "I think we need to go now." Greg says. "Ok." Officer Greg replies and the two of them leave the room. Gref heads back up the stairs and the officer takes the lead again. "Ok now let's put the handcuffs on our wrists." Greg says. The officer puts the handcuffs on his wrists and puts the key under his pillow. "I need the key. Do you trust me?" The officer asks. "Yes." Greg wholeheartedly replys.
The officer grabs the key from under his pillow and gives it to Greg. "Ok now put this on my wrist." Greg says. The officer replies solemnly, "I can't." "Why not?" Greg asks feeling melancholic. "I don't have hands." Officer Greg responds, feeling guilty. "Oh. Well do you trust me?" Greg asks. "Yes." The officer replies. "Then put it around my wrist." Officer Greg puts the key around his wrist and grabs it.
"I got it." Greg says. "Good. Now do it again." Officer Greg says and puts his wrist near his other arm. "Can you do it yourself?" Greg asks. "Yes." Officer Greg replies. Greg then puts the key around his wrist and grabs it. "Got it." Greg says. "Good. Now we need to make a deal with them." Officer Greg says. "What do you mean? I'm not going to be your boyfriend, that's a stupid question." Greg replies defensively.
"What did you have in mind then?" The officer responds glumly. "I'll do whatever you want in exchange for help. Anything. Then you can leave." Officer Greg answers his own question. Greg quickly retorts, "Deal." Greg and officer Greg make a deal with the ghosts. Greg tells them that they can have their freedom, but they both need their help to get out of this place. Officer Greg tells the ghosts to haunt Greg and then Greg hugs him.
"I'll miss you." Greg says to officer Greg. "Me too. Now let's get out of here." Greg responds, tearing up a bit. "Yeah." Greg and the officer walk out of the room and leave the house. Once outside, Greg finds that the sun is out and it's a beautiful day. "Thank God. Let's get out of here." Greg says. The police officer slyly responds. "Yeah. You lead the way. You really trust them don't you?" Greg says, "What do you mean? Officer Greg blushes madly, "I mean I'm one of them and you still trust me." Greg laughs, "Of course I trust you. You helped me. Besides they said they'd haunt you if I didn't help you. So they're either going to keep their word or they're going to haunt you. Which would you prefer?" Greg whispers, "I don't mind as long as we're friends." Officer Greg speaks, "I understand."
Greg starts walking and then suddenly officer Greg tackles you to the ground. Greg is knocked out of his shoes and rolls around in the grass. "What are you doing???" Greg yells, his voice a bit hoarse. Officer Greg doesn't reply, instead he pulls Greg's hands behind his back and locks the handcuffs on them. "Hey let me go!" Greg retorts, "I was joking when i said you're just a friend!" Knowing the officer was upset that Greg didn't return his romantic feelings for him. "Sorry." Officer Greg gets up and continues walking with Greg. The two of them get back to the exit of the park and see the bus stop right in front of it.
"Oh thank God." Greg sees the route the bus is going to take and knows when it's coming back. "It's coming back in like five minutes. I know where it's going to drop you off." Officer Greg asks, "Where is the bus going?" Greg responds, "The 509, out towards Gaithersburg. It's the only route that goes out there." "Ok" Greg and officer Greg wait for the bus and get on it.
Greg coyly asks, "So officer Greg, do you have any family in Gaithersburg"
"Nope. Why do you ask?" Officer Greg questions him. "No reason." The two of them sit in awkward silence for the remainder of the ride. Greg finally starts singing to the radio. "Hey, you want to hear a song?" Greg asks officer Greg. "Sure." He replies. Greg begins to sing 'America the Beautiful' while looking out the window. Greg asks, "it's a good song isn't it?" "Yes, it is." Officer Greg replies and looks out the window. Greg gets off at the next stop and says goodbye to officer Greg."Bye."
"Bye."
"I'll miss you officer Greg"
"Me too."
