Chapter 001, "The Grimoires"(MARV)

"REMI!!!I'll become the wizard king and make you happy, so please marry me" Asta yelled out as I had been helping out sister lily with the clothes as I smile and stare at him for a good few seconds. "I'm sorry Asta, but I'm not of age yet and I can't return your feelings" I say politely as I turn back to the clothes using my natural godly magic wind to dry and hang them. "Not yet" Asta yells as I smile softly at him but pay him not mind. "I'm not giving up yet" he continues as I sigh and turn to him. "I'm not giving up" he says as I glare at him, I stare at him deeply before moving my hand in a swift motion.

"Hmm what" he says confused as he moves with my hand. "Wind magic: spiraling storm" I say before I make a single hand gesture and he starts swirling in a mini tornado. It drops him as he looks dizzy. "Please don't ask me anymore Asta, I love you but I'm not sure in that way. Okay" I say smiling to him as I help him sit up. "Ahh, Remi" he says admiringly as I get back to work.

I block out all the noise as I continue to think about the magic knights exams the village wants me to do. I finish all the clothes and look to sister lily who stares back and smiles while I nod and leave. I head into the forest, at my secret training spot in an open area surrounded by rocks. I do some physical training including 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, 100 punches, 100 kicks, and finish off with 10 minutes of meditation.

"The grimoire ceremony is tomorrow, even though I have one they want me to go. I suppose it's to see my students revive theirs as well as Yuno and Asta. I wonder why I was blessed with such overpowered mana and magic, I'm just a peasant, Asta deserves it more than me" I say before biting my lip in anger drawing blood and holding myself tightly. I breath in and breath out before sighing.

"The gods must see something in me. Either way, I must train" I say before continuing to practice magic. After training until night falls I use my ninja like stealth to run/climb up the demon skeleton and sit until the head, watching the sky. "The stars are bright, the night is cold, I shall stand here and watch alone" I say closing my eyes and taking in the moonlight. "I think I'll take a nap here for the night" I say as I lay down and sleep next to the first wizard kings statue.

Birds chirp as my eyes slowly open adjusting to the light. The sun adorns my face as I breath in and let out a smile. "It's a beautiful day, but such an off setting feeling" I say as I notice an odd feeling. "Hmm is that Asta and Yuno" I say staring at the boys approaching the grimoire tower. "Well, I guess I shall go" i say before running from tree to tree to the grimoire tower before slipping through the open door.

I stand in the shadows my back against the wall and my arms crossed. I notice that no one notices me as I narrow my eyes before closing them and waiting. I open my eyes at the noise of laughter and see Asta is the main reason. I sigh getting annoyed as I walk near Asta and bunk his head. "If anyone speaks bad about Asta you'll answer to me.... and I promise too kick your sorry a-" I start giving off a angry demon aura as someone flicks my forehead causing me to stop. "Don't turn into that part of yourself" Yuno says as I let out a tch turning my head.

Everyone starts to dawn over Yuno when I head back to the wall closing my eyes. I open them to a bright light. A gigantic and thick grimoire pops up as I raise an eyebrow. "Hmm" I say letting out my hands as the grimoire goes to it. "It's a four leaf clover" everyone says as I stare at the book from front to back and flip through the pages. It's a beautiful black with red on the front, giving off a white aura, it has a big four leaf clover surrounded by gold and other four leaf clovers surrounding the front. It is similar to my first one except on the back is a five leaf clover underneath is  a four leaf clover then 3 leaf clover, then two, then one. The back is completely red and surrounded with single leave clovers surrounded by gold. The clover shines with silver light.

"I've never seen such a book" the tower master says as I sigh putting it away in my other book holder. "Wait! Now she has two, I've never seen someone who could have two" someone says as I sigh and walk out of the tower.

"Why? I don't deserve it! Asta needs it more than I do so why do I keep getting more power" I yell at myself as I punch a tree causing a hole to appear. "Fuck" I say under my breath. I suddenly hear a scream and run to were I heard it.

I accidentally cut my leg on a shark stick and stop to temporarily stop the bleeding. I use my wind magic to fly and stop above a fight including Asta and a man using chain magic. I see Yuno and two others chained up while Asta is losing. I can sense him losing hope.

"ASTA DONT YOU DARE GIVE UP! WHO SAID THEY WOULD BEAT US AND BECOME THE WIZARD KING. WHOS THE KID I LOOK UP TOO. WHOS THE PERSON WITH SO MUCH ENERGY AND POTENTIAL. GET YOUR ASS UP AND FIGHT" I yell at Asta as I drop down onto the chain user surprising him as Asta gains a grimoire and beats the man up as I smirk and break the chains off the 3 tied up.

"Good job Asta, I knew you could do it" i say as he blushes and thanks me for encouraging him. "Asta and Yuno, stand in front me" I say as they do that and I use my demon fire magic to lightly heal their wounds. "You should be okay, don't do anything reckless again" I say as they nod and we head home.
