Asiyah's POV.
The girls calmed down a bit after the man reassured it was all organized by the school.
How can they believe him so easily? One by one they all got out of the bus. Only Maryam and I were left to get out. I wish I could just get into the driver's seat and drive back to school but I don't want to create problems. At least, not for now.
"Let's go Maryam" I said as we got up and stepped out of the bus.
We were all outside now and standing side by side waiting for what we had to do next.
What kind of activity is organized without a warning?
"What do you think this is about?" Maryam whispered to me.
"I don't know but I doubt what they're saying" I whispered back.
" Asiyah...I love you," she said.
"Why are you saying that as if it were the last time we were seeing each other?" I asked having a bad feeling about this.
"I don't know I just felt like letting you know" she said.
"girls stop chatting already" the man warned us.
We stopped talking and paid attention to what he was saying.
"There are five cars here, in pairs, you will get into a car. The men in each car will come out first and choose which girls they will take with him and all you have to do is get into the car afterwards,"
What is he saying?! Why should we separate? And why do they get to choose?
I raised my hand to ask a question.
"Yes?" he permits me to speak.
"Why do they get to choose with whom we get into the cars with?" I asked.
"As you can already tell, we make the decisions here," he said.
"I don't understand—What kind of activity is this?" I asked.
I saw his smirk as he raised his hand and soon the men got out of their cars and stood in front of us.
"I didn't get an answer" I said.
"You sure do talk a lot," Really? Is that really all he's gonna say?
"The first two chosen girls will go with Aryan" he said as he pointed at a tall muscular guy with blue eyes and black hair.
Frankly, I don't see a difference with any of these five guys. They're all super tall, well-shaped and seemed grounded not to forget scary.
"I'll take her and her" he said as he pointed at Maryam and another girl. Ya Allah!
I wanted to be with my bestie!! I held on to her hand. Why does it feel like I'll never see her again?
"Can you let go of your friend's hand? You'll see her later" he said but I can't seem to let her go.
"Hide your phone" I whispered to her before letting go of her hand as she walked to the car. She turned to look at me one last time before getting in.
Two by two every girl was getting inside a car and soon there was only me and another girl left.
"You two can get inside the car with Azaan" Sultan said.
I walked to the car and got in completely ignoring which man was going to be in the car. The other girl also got in and sat beside me.
"What's your name?" she asked.
"Asiyah" I said.
"I'm Zorah" she said. I nodded. I just can't think straight. Nothing feels right to me.
The guy started the car and drove away following the other cars that already left.
"Where are we going?" I asked him but got no response in return.
"Sir?" I said.
"My name is Azaan and not sir" he replied.
"Azaan sir?"
"Just Azaan is fine" he said.
"Azaan, where are you bringing us?" I asked again.
"You'll see when we get there" he said.
"Can't we know now?"
"no" he stated. I let out a breath of frustration.
Why can't anyone tell us where we're going?!
In a few minutes, we arrived at a huge mansion. Should I say a freaking castle?
Everyone got out of their cars as we all stood waiting for the next orders.
"We finally arrived, someone at the door will take away your phones, jewelry, personal stuff, backpacks and so on," Sultan said.
They made us make a straight line and wait to get inside. How is no one reacting differently here?! Am I the only one tripping?!
I was the last one in line and before me was Zohra and I could see Maryam in front. I can't get inside. Not until I know what the purpose of being here is. Guards were surrounding us but all I was looking for right now was how to provoke them so they could tell me what was happening. Think think think!!!
I raised my hand high so that someone could see.
"Yes?" Sultan said.
"I forgot my phone in the car" I lied.
"Really?" He is clearly doubting me. I nodded yes.
"Azaan will go get it with you" he said.
Azaan came to me and asked me to follow him as I did.
I followed him walking behind when I noticed...A gun?! Oh my Allah! He has a gun in his back pocket!!
A gun is pretty scary and threatening. I got closer to him before quickly pulling the gun out of his pocket and pointing it at him.
"Tell me why I'm here and what this place is now" I ordered trying not to shake.
"Asiyah, that's your name right?" He said.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
"I know a lot of things that you don't know—look, I won't harm you if you give me back my gun" he said bringing his hand forward for me to give him the gun back.
"What if I don't give it back?" I can't believe I said that!
"Then I guess I have to use another way to get it which you won't like because I'll have to touch you" he said with a smirk and eying me up and down. What a pervert!!
"Why am I here?" I asked.
"You're the only girl here who seems so intrigued—Why?" he asked leaving my question unanswered again.
He took a few steps closer to me.
"What if I told you that you're here to marry me?" He said making my heart stop for a moment. I can't believe my ears.
"You can marry yourself because I am the last person who's going to let it happen" I replied. He started laughing.
"You're pretty funny—come on give me back my gun" he said.
"no" I said.
Suddenly, he grabbed my arm and twisted it around pinning it to my back before snatching the gun from my hand. Ouch. That hurts.
"I don't think you know me good enough sugarplum" he said.
I tried to move away but he wouldn't let go of my arm.
"Can't let go of you" he said as he pushed me to walk forward.
Ya Allah!! I need your help!!
