I was heaving with rage. My own sister was selling me out to the person a looted the most. I can't believe her. I budged inside her room. She was still wearing her mask. She looked cute making me calm down.
"What is the rukers?" She asked through her mask.
"You should have told me Lena Johns was the host of the party." I stated.
"If i told you what will you do?" She asked raising her eyebrows.
"Uh," i was speechless.
"Anyway, since it is Lenas party, i won't go." I exclaimed before storming off. I tried to sleep to no vail. Why can't i fall asleep? I won't go to that party. What will Lena think if she sees me?I need to show her that am okay even after that harrowing betrayal.
"I won't go, I will go,i wont,i will."
"Arghhhhhhh." I roared. I listened one of my favourite rappers before sleep salvaged me.

"Gooooodmooorning." My sister greeted as she jumped on top of my bed. I groaned as i tried to pull the duvet over my head.
"Good..mor.ning my.f.oot." I mumbled. This wasn't a goodmorning. I was supposed to sleep eight hours but i slept like two hours. I tried to wiggle from my sisters constant attempts to pull the duvet down.
"You need to prepare." She stated.
"Prepare for what?" I shouted as i woke up with a start. She looked at me with puppy eyes making me feel guilty.
"Sorry," I said. "Let me sleep for an hour." I pleaded.
"Fine, an hour starts now." She said as she left me to myself.

Instead of sleeping, i did some decluttering and cluttering of my room. It took thirty minutes and the other thirty i took a shower, dressed into a simple floral dress and went down for breakfast.

"Goodmorning, dad,Edward." I greeted them. As i moved to the kitchen to pour myself a glass of juice.
"Edward, will you help me with your car?" I asked as Emma stared at me with a confused expression.
"You need my car?" He exclaimed with a puzzled expression. I never drove myself to anywhere. It was either dad or Emma who gave me a ride.
"Fine, the keys are behind the door."
He said as I gulped down my juice in a flash.

Sitting on the drivers seat, i pulled the Porsche out of the driveway. Their was no traffic since it was on a weekend.
I alighted the car as  I handed the valet my car keys.
Walking through the mall i went to the one place that feels like home.
"Eloise, what a suprise." Evans spoke with his fake british accent. He was a tall darkskin man. He was the only man who could touch my hair. He did my first hair cut after graduating from highschool.
"I need a shocking head transformation." I said.
"What kind of shocking transformation do you need?" he asked as he moved to touch my long blonde tresses which i had tied into a loose updo. He pulled the band that held my tresses as he brushed a comb through them.
"I need something that is bold and classy." I explained as he draped a towel around my shoulders.
"Like dyeing my hair to black, red or blue." I dramatically explained.

He just agreed with my crazy suggestion. After that long explanation, he got to work his wonders on my head. Cutting my hair into a short bob, dyed it into jet black. The colour made me look outstanding.

"Baby, you look stunning." He whispered.

I stared at my reflection, the  black  dye lifted my face and i looked like a glamorous, boujee and expensive model.
"I need to be party ready. See you soon." I told Evans as I strode out of the salon to the waiting valet whom i tipped before leaving the premises.

It was 3:00pm by the time i returned home. Dad wasn't home since it was on a saturday, he went to play golf with a few of his friends. Edward was busy on the PS like a teenager and lastly Emma, she stood gawking at me.
"What?" I asked with a fake bitchy attitude. She just stared at me as she blinked several time to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.
"El, are you sick?" She asked. Edward who didn't acknowledge my entrance, was now looking at me like i was a goddess from the world of the gods. I was already picking his jaw.
"El, are you really my sister?" He asked rhetorically. Rolling my eyes, I lightly hit him on his shoulder.
"Am starving." I signed as i sat on the nearby seat.
"Anybody to serve this beautiful lady here?" I announced. My sister who was still in shock, moved as she brought me some fruits.
"Are you alright?" Concerned washed over her.
"Am fine. Why?" I asked as a stuffed myself with some pieces of apples.
"Your look." She said as she sat on a stool, looking even more puzzled.
"What's wrong with my look?" I asked.
"El is it about Lena that you went to this length? You don't have to go to the party." She explained.
"We can stay and watch netflix." She suggested.
"Or we could listen to Drake the whole night." She suggested kindly.
"Don't worry Emm. That party is a must go." I spoke as I lightly patted her back.

I had few hours before the party.
"Em,where are the shoes you promised?" I asked.
"And you will do my makeup." I added.
"Fine." She went to her room and came back with two black shopping bags. Taking the two bags from her, i peeped inside.
Inside the bag lied a black shoulder bag with a chunky silver strap. The other bag lied a black six inch Jimmy Choo's shoes with a thin strap to support my foot. They are stunning.
"How did you know my size?" I asked her and I instantly knew that was just a rhetorical question.
"Am your sister." She answered coolly .

I took a quick shower. Emma did my makeup. She applied minimal makeup and to finish the look, she applied a red matte lipstick. She helped me put on the dress and strapped my shoes. I looked at the person staring at me. It wasn't me, this was a reflection of my inner self.

Emma hugged me from behind as she muttered.
"El, you must find a handsome rich guy. Ok?"
"Seriously Emm." I murmured. It was on rare occasions like this that we used nicknames. We stood in silence, before we had a knock. Edward strode inside.
"El, you look stunning." Dressed in a white and black texudo, he led me down the stairs to the waiting limo.
"Wow." I was amazed. Edward took this far so i could have an amazing night.
He helped me inside the limo and the driver drove off as my heart hummered from anticipation and nervousness.

Before us loomed a magnificent glass mansion. It was huge and lavish. It was decorated with glimmering lights. So here is where my ex friend lived with the devil he called a husband. They got married here after making a fool out of me. The Johns, power couple who graced magazine covers.

"May I?" Edward held his hand to help me out as i drew a shuddering breath. We were ushered inside the house, chandeliers were hanging on the roof while emitting soft rays of light as soft music blasted from the speakers and a few couples graced the dance floors. When the music came to an end, the Johns moved on to the stage to address their guest.
Lena was dressed in a sheer red ball gown that swept the floor, as her long raven hair was held in a neat ponytail as she was held closely by her husband who was dressed in a black texudo and a red bow tie.

He addressed the guest as his wife plastered a smile. For those who didn't know her, they will think her smile was genuine but to me, it was all a pretence. Her eyes scanned until she laid her brown eyes on me. She smile vanished in a second before plastering that fake smile again. We had a little staring contest before she looked away. Whispering something to her husband, he nodded before she made her way to me.

"Eloise." She feigned surprise while giving me her one million dollar smile showing her dimple. A few people stared at us before minding their business.

"Its been long." She said.
"Yes it has been long." I answered her confidently.
Before she could speak more, a man in his thirties came towards us and greeted us.
"Hello, ladies." He greeted. He was a hunk even when he is dressed in a suit. Lena who didn't acknowledge his greeting strode off to God knows where.
"May i have this dance?" He asked as he offered me his hand.
"Sure." That is all i could say.
