[In which River realizes he's in love with Inpu]

It was beautiful night. River had brought Inpu to a picnic before leading him up to a grassy cliff where the stars shone brightly. Each star flickered as if they were speaking. Sparkling bright in the sky keeping Inpu in a constant trance.

It wasn't as though he hadn't seen them before. The stars were there every night. They always sparkled and twinkled. Yet, something about this night was different. Perhaps it was the fluttering in his chest. It was impossible was it not? How could someone who had threatened him so quickly fall in love? The thought was enchanting. Nothing could still Inpu's rushing heart. They had been going on dates for two weeks now. It was just enough time for Inpu to fall in love. He didn't know what made him fall for him. He was in love.

Love.

Love is what that black-haired boy felt. River could tell when he looked at him. River's selfish nature made Inpu fall in love. It was all for love. So why was his stomach twisting? What was this unsettling feeling of guilt that burried it's way into his stomach? Why did he care so much?

There was no denying it. River was feeling guilty. The entire reason he went to date Inpu was to make Bryan feel heartbroken. Whenever Bryan was at his lowest, he would come to River for comfort. The plan itself was selfish. 

That's why he decided to call off the relationship.

He wasn't sure why. It was for love, it didn't matter who he hurt but... he already knew the answer. He was sure why. It was Bryan! He wanted to be good for Bryan so this type of thing was totally was totally out of the question... right?

"Inpu I... I've got to break up with you."

"..."

"I'm no good. I was using you. Don't feel sad because I probably wasnt worth it anyway."

"..."

River mustered up what little pride and courage he had left in him to look at Inpu's face. He's gotta be so angry. He's got to realize the his 'true self' was truly ugly. That is why he hated being 'himself.' Why he hid his true face away. 

Oh.

He was asleep. Inpu had fallen asleep. Of course River was worrying over nothing. Of course.

The thought still stood in the back of his mind. The thought that he was thinking this before. With someone else. With Bryan. The one who he loves. The one who he loves. He thought that about the people who he loved. And at that moment, it all seemed to click.

He had fallen for Inpu.
