Anny reached the hostel after half an hour. I wondered what she had done during those thirty minutes. Joe had not reached yet. I dared not to look at Anny after what I had done because this was the first time she had witnessed this vehement side of mine and this time unlike the one when we had decided to help Joe I was completely sure that what I had done was NOT erroneous.

Just one hour was left for the college to end and I was pretty sure that the last lecture should have begun fifteen minutes ago. So I decided not to make my day more abhorrent and decided to stick to my room. To avoid Anny I grabbed a book and started to  dissimuate to read ( I was really behaving so awkward. Like it didn't even come to my senses that that was a book about money sweeping your feet away).

After a while after winning over the battle which was going on in Anny's mind(which I thought after looking at her ineffable countenance and the wave of emotions locked in it) she handed me a letter or you could say a piece of paper and left the room by saying the name of its owner. I had my own doubts but keeping it all aside I decided to open the letter which happened to be that of Joe.

"Kennny... I didn't have any intention to instigate you in this manner. Yes I do agree that this purse might not have any value for others due to its materialistic appearance. But even if this purse shatters into pieces I will still have a great amount of concern for this than any other thing in this own world. You might find this strange but this purse is very dear to me as its the only sign of love of my mother which is left. I have already lost my life's hope and that is my mother and if this also distances away from me then I would get shattered in a worse manner than this purse. I don't blame you for your behavior because what you did was just as you weren't aware of the reason behind it."

As I finished the letter Anny stepped in. I couldn't describe the mental trauma which I was going through even to myself(that happens rarely...). As I glanced towards Anny it became clear that she had already experienced the stormy wind. Not a word from my mouth had the courage to come out. Anny examined my state and left saying "gestures will prove better than words". I understood her statement and waited eagerly for a new friend.
