Episode 9: Konichi wa Gentlemen

(The Ridonculous Race logo pops up, with the name "Total Drama Guys Island" in the title)

Don: (voiceover, with slideshow images of Japan) Japan. One of the most relaxing countries in the world. Home to original mangas and animes, cherry blossom trees and a population of 125.76 million people. (Cuts to him standing in front of the slideshow) It is here that 10 boys will be racing each other in teams of 2 to see who will move on up in the competition and this episode is dedicated to all the Total Drama fans from Japan, even though you can't understand me. I'm your host, Don, and welcome to the Total Drama Guys Island version of (the camera pans up close to his face) The Ridonculous Race. (He smiles as his teeth bling)

(Opening credits)

(The camera pans towards the Earth rotating and a hand holding a tip comes up. The camera zooms in and panels of the five teams running as silhouettes slide onto the screen before panels of an airplane, a train and a bus slide over them. Cuts to a taxi stopping and opening its door before the camera pans into the taxi as pictures of the five teams pop up on screen. It then transitions to the title: Total Drama Guys Island presents: The Ridonculous Race)

(Cuts to Don at an airport standing next to an airplane)

Don: The race is about to start, but before we get onto that plane, let's meet the teams. (Cuts to Duncan and Spud) Duncan and Spud, "The Delinquents". Two boys that went from juvenile detention to the actual big house and had each other's backs for a long time.

(Confessional)

Duncan: The last time I travelled around the world was Total Drama World Tour, a forced musical season with nothing but originals. (He makes a disgusted face) Blegh!

Spud: I was on the Ridonculous Race the last time. It was fun!

Duncan: I'll bet it was. You don't have to deal with forced musicals and a troublemaking C.I.T. b***h trying to eliminate you or Ellody.

Spud: Now that's a scary thought.

Duncan: (smirks) And here's the best part, (he puts his shades on and Spud does the same) that C.I.T. is in the nuthouse.

Duncan/Spud: AAAAAAYYYEE!!

(End confessional)

Don: Geoff and Brody, "The Surfer Dudes". They won the Ridonculous Race before and it seems like they're back for redemption.

(Confessional)

Geoff: Me and Brody did the Ridonculous Race before and we won the mill, so boom, we're back for another round, this time in Japan!

Brody: I'm really excited about it, I've never been in Japan before! Next time I come here, I'm bringing MacArthur here on a date!

Geoff: Me too! Maybe it could be a double date!

Brody: That would be awesome!

Geoff/Brody: (both boys fist bump) Boom!

(End confessional)

Don: Rock and Beardo, "The Mix-Up". One who like making music via a DJ booth and the other likes running around outside.

(Confessional)

Rock: I would have Spud as my partner, but he's already partners with Duncan, but that's alright because I got to team up with Beardo.

Beardo: I may like being a DJ like my friend Ezekiel and he may like running, but nothing will make us rant out these opinions.

Rock: True that. We could have called our team "The Opposites".

Beardo: But we didn't, we're "The Mix-Up" instead.
