Superhero AU

Trigger Warning - Mentions of suicide

- Person A is a Hero and Person B is the villain they fight

- In their civilian forms, they attend the same school

- Person A is an out and proud lesbian, but is disliked, bullied and hurt

- Person B is a closeted Pansexual, and is very popular at school

- The two have never spoken outside of fighting eachother

- Over the course of a few weeks, Person B starts to take note of how much Person A is bullied and harassed, but doesn't intervene

- At the same time Villain notices how Hero has become very unmotivated in fights and often has injuries that Villain hasn't inflicted

- One day during a battle, Hero collapses on the ground and just starts sobbing

- After a few minutes of just crying, Hero says "please just kill me before I do it myself"

- Villain asks them dumbfounded why they would do that

- Hero explains that 'they are a joke. They put up with abuse every day, if it isn't from Villain it's at school and that their only escape from being bullied for their sexuality is when fighting Villain'

- It was then, at Hero's side, that Villain connected the dots between Hero and Person A - all of their similarities and appearance

- Villain instantly takes to comforting Hero, after moving them to a secluded ally

- Villain uses Person A's name to address them and leaves Hero confused

- Villain then continues to say that they love Hero and that they should stop fighting

- Villain takes Hero to their home and the two just talked (hero now knowing who Villain is)

- The pair then got into a relationship and stopped fighting, leaving the City to wonder where Hero and Villain had gone.

I had this imagined as two girls, but that can be changed.
I quite like this idea, but can't think of how to write it properly.
