Nonhyeon-dong, 3rd floor had four apartments. Three of which were occupied by an old couple, their cat, a single mother and her newborn son, and seven newly debuted idols. The fourth apartment on Nonhyeon-dong, 3rd floor, sat empty, ready to be housed and filled with all and any sort of story. In fact, the owner of the building was desperate to sell or rent out the fourth apartment. So when looking for an apartment to move into, one that would be close to the rest of the boys and close to work, Seokjin did not hesitate to rent out Nonhyeon-dong, 304.

At the age of twenty-one, a little over a month after his debut, Seokjin found himself renting out the apartment right next to the one he and the rest of the boys were currently living in.Nonhyeon-dong, 304. An apartment in his name. An apartment which would be the first step of his new life. A new life that wasn't just his alone anymore. A life that he now shared. The apartment, Nonhyeon-dong, 304, the house in which he and his wife would live.

Wife. The word lay heavy on his chest. He didn't know much about her. In the one month that he knew her, they were married for most of it. The wedding, the marriage, it was all orchestrated by their parents. By tradition in his ancestry, the Kim son would marry the Kang daughter when she turned 20. His older brother had been smart. He moved to Australia, found a girlfriend and lived a settled life. There was no way he would even agree to an arranged marriage. That left Seokjin, the obedient Kim Seokjin. He wouldn't ever defy his parents. Rarely if ever they asked anything of him. So when his name came up in fulfilling a promise made by some great grandfather that people in his family had only ever heard of, Seokjin agreed to the marriage.

It came as a surprise to all of his members, on a mid-June day, about a week after the one month anniversary of their debut, that Seokjin had to be out of town for around a month. If his break was a surprise to them, then the reason behind his break was an even bigger shock. Seokjin knew from the start that the news of his marriage would be a hard one to hide from people. So the day he found out, he broke it to his members, Bang PD and all three of their managers. The top cream of the company. Only the ten people knew, all of them sworn to secrecy. The marriage worried him. What if someone found out? What if his career as an Idol would end even before it fully began? What about the other boys? Would they suffer because of his marriage? What about his wife? Would she be happy with him?

The questions laid heavy in his mind. He knew that this was the start of a very long chapter of his life. He still had Konkuk. College was a big deal to him.  Would he be able to do it? Work as an idol, go to Konkuk, have a wife? His mind was shooting blanks. The fear of all this coming to bite him in the back stayed in his mind. One day at a time. The simple, most obvious solution.

Today, his plan was to drive to Nonhyeon-dong from the hotel, sign the apartment lease, meet the boys at home, have dinner with them, pack some dinner for his wife, go to west Nam Gu, pick up his wife, go back to the hotel. The said hotel had been his home for the past four days. Something came up with the apartment owner which meant that Seokjin couldn't sign the lease agreement of his new home for a couple of days. He didn't want his wife to stay in an already cramped apartment with six other guys on the first few days of their marriage. Thus, the hotel. His wife was an HR graduate.

She found an internship in Nam Gu, a steady place from where she might get a permanent job. It was her first day today. Jin knew that she was nervous. In fact, she was almost as nervous as she was the day they got married. Her constant tossing in the bed last night was an easy tell that she didn't get much sleep. When he woke up today morning, he woke up to a sight of her sitting on the floor of the hotel room with a spread of documents around her. He recalled those papers as the ones he has seen in her hand four days ago when he picked her up for her very successful internship interview.

His relationship with his wife was a platonic one. They lived like roommates, more than a couple. Sure, they shared the same bed, but other than that their relationship had no married tone to it.They were a lot more friendlier to each other than Seokjin thought they would be. He sat on the bed today morning. His eyes on his wife as she organised her papers. He'd asked her about her work place, if she needed a drive to where she had to go. She simply declined his offer, saying that she would take the bus in an attempt to get to know the city better. With a promise to pick her up after work with dinner, they had parted ways for the rest of the day.

Getting in his car, Seokjin had driven to Nonhyeon-dong to meet with the apartment owner.
That's what brought him to sign the lease, officially starting a new part of his life.
