"Y/N..." A soft voice spoke.
Y/N...
"Y/N!"
I shot up awake and turned in my bed, falling out of it with a loud thump.
"Ow..." I said, rubbing my back at the part that hit the ground.
"Y/N! Hurry up, breakfast is ready." A familiar voice said.
"Okay okay, give me a sec." I responded back before standing up.
I stretched my arms and my back out before yawning loudly. I looked around my small room, it was still barren. Just a bed, a small bedside table and some large boxes scattered across the floor. I look to the bedside table to see my phone, seeing the time plastered across the screen.
"7:40...7:40! Oh no! I'm gonna be late!" I say, rushing over to one of the boxes and opening it hastily.
I start throwing clothes out of the box and picking up some quickly, standing up and walking over to my personal bathroom. Thank god mom and dad let me have my own bathroom. I change quickly out of my pajamas and into my fresh clothes. I look in the mirror and straighten out my outfit.
Y/N's Outfit:
I comb through my hair with my fingers and take out my toothbrush and toothpaste from the bathroom cabinet. Quickly brushing my teeth and rushing out of the bathroom and down the stairs. I make it to the kitchen, trying to regain my breath as they familiar voice from before spoke out.
"Morning Y/N, here's your breakfast." The voice said as I looked up to see who it is.
"It's not burnt like the last time, right?" I say, walking over to the counter and sitting on one of the stools.
"How dare you accuse your perfect brother of burning your food on purpose, you know that only happened because you distracted me." My brother said as he crossed his arms across his chest and pouted slightly.
"Yeah yeah." I say, looking down at the plate before me to see slightly burnt scrambled eggs.
"Whatever, hurry up so I can take you to school before you're late." He said before walking out of the kitchen.
I eat my eggs quickly and rush over to the stairs, climbing up them and entering my room. I look around and see my phone when I left it on the bedside table. I pick it up and shove it into my pocket and look around the room again, trying to find my backpack. I walk over to the boxes and push them aside, spotting my backpack flopped down onto the ground. I pick it up and swing it over my shoulder, taking one last glance at my room, maybe I should start unpacking once I get home.
"Y/N! Time to go." My brother shouted from downstairs.
"Coming!" I shouted back as I made my way out of my bedroom.
