Anyway, there was no point trying to find him now, he probably left the hotel as soon as I was out sight.

I angrily dialled Cora's number. She was the go-to reliable guy of my old team, and probably the most bearable person too.

"Pick up pick up pick up." I quietly muttered into the phone.

"Hey Y/N, what's up, have you passed your admission yet?"

"Nope, I've only just started and I got robbed by some blonde bitch, my key card was in that and I have to keep some dumb lighter lit for 24 hours."

"Hold on, what?"

"My clutch bag got stolen and the key to my room was in that along with my money so I don't have a place to stay tonight."

"I don't think you can stay at the team mansion anymore, but I can let you stay in my apartment I guess."

"Thank you so much you're a lifesaver, literally."

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear the last part. I'll come pick you up at your hotel if you want, the walk there is literal murder for your feet."

I can't even remember how many ciggies I had to light for people outside before Cora pulled up.

She rolled down her window "Get in loser." "Rude." Her dumb smirk immediately brought some happiness to the day. "Hoooo it's kinda hot today." She said whilst tying her hair back. I waked around to the passenger side. "Tell me about it."

She took ahold of the lighter whilst I got in the car, being careful not to put the flame out. Now having sat down, she gave me back the lighter and rolled up all the windows, I still guarded it with my hand to be careful though.

The car ride got a little bit silent because we had no idea what to talk about so she popped a cd into the car and we vibed until she drove up the hill to the street packed full of fancy apartment blocks.

Cora helped me out of the car, taking the lighter from me and giving it back again. She locked her car.

"I'm gonna just chill with you for today, everyone except for Savvas got the weekend off." "Oh god, what did he do this time?" She held back a laugh "He called Niccolò a bitch, because he is a bitch, so Niccolò got upset and sent him on a two day mission with half his usual pay."

We walked into the fancy elevator, this time I checked for little bitches with weird hairstyles. The elevator seemed to be little bitch free so Cora pushed the button and up we went.

"Someday Savvos is gonna learn that Niccolò is big enough of a piss baby to dismiss him from his position, and then he won't have anything to joke about anymore." The doors opened and Cora unlocked her door and thank fuck for that because I was getting real sick of holding the damned lighter at this point. It was impossible for me to just set the lighter on a counter because Polpo decided to be an asshat and give me a lighter with a rounded bottom.
