Many centuries ago there lived a very gentle, loving Princess, given a sweet name, Luna, who lead the life of a normal human. Her parents were so cruel, and her siblings so violent. She became so fed up with this torture that she took the biggest decision of her life, one that would change her completely. Despite having royal blood, she never demanded anything and always stood ready to help the villagers. Luna never let her past affect her present. One day she met a villager who wanted to enter her hut, she refused to let him in and as a result Luna was given a curse to forever live like this, only when the curse was given the man realised what a big mistake he had made. But there was no way he could take the curse back so he told Luna how she could be free from it. "One day, a magical creature, with a pure heart just like you will enter your residence, it will listen to your story and free you from this curse." From that day on Luna has been waiting for the day, the day that such a creature will come. Her family regretted whatever they did while she was in the Castle. They realised how much she was important to them only when she broke all ties with them and left to lead a happy and peaceful life. Many attempts to bring her back failed, they were always returned by the words " I can only come back when a magical creature, with a pure heart like, comes to my doorstep and takes me. But I know that will never happen, therefore I may never come back." After many years she came, a Fox, the most beautiful one ever to be seen, it had beautiful blue eyes, soft white fur with a jewel on its forehead and big magical wings Oh how amazing it was! It is said that such a fox could bring good luck and prosperity to those who had been able to see it. Only those with a pure heart were able to catch a sight of it. So it came to this village and walked past many, but nobody was able to see it. After a long walk, it came past Luna's house. She spotted her and felt a connection towards her. Luna turned around feeling the same way and was mesmerised at what she saw. She went outside and felt the animal. Luna felt calmness being close to the fox. She sat her down and told her about herself. And as the man said that day, the fox listened and freed her from the curse she was given years ago. Luna finally went back to where she belonged, the Castle she grew up in. It turned out her family only wanted her to come back so they could pass their days making Luna serve them, they still tortured her and never left her in peace. When Luna was old enough, she was made the Queen. She ruled with pride and wisdom, being fair with all and when she passed away, a monument was made for her in honour of her. Before she died she told her family " I will never leave you, and families who are like you alone, I will not let any other innocent suffer what I did." The fox also died the same day in great pain upon hearing about Luna's death. Some say she and the fox still roam around with the hope that one day to make sure that all children have the right to say their word, for there to be a day when children are not treated like slaves, in hope for a world where children won't be forced to do things against their choice.
