Hello!!! I am so happy and excited that you have decided to check out this book! Before we start, I want to cover a few things!
This book is rated PG14 because it has violence, gore, kissing, death, and thematic issues(taking place in a society that has old-fashioned tendencies on the female sex not being able to do certain things).
Recently, I have turned my attention more to the feministic movement and noticed several things I would love to point out but can't for fear of hatred from both men and women alike. These themes will be discussed in this book furthermore exploiting the true inequalities that BOTH men and women faced and still face in society. This book may also include characters whose sexuality is not exposed for they are not the main characters and their sexuality may divert attention from this book. However, since this book will be a great attempt at diversifying the community, you may so choose to imagine the side characters as members of the lgbtq+ community.
This book will cover the above thematic issue of gender inequality as well as being a romance, however if for any reason, which I believe, and I am sorry if you disagree, is incredibly stupid, but if you believe that the female sex is in some way unequal to the male sex or rather SHOULD be unequal, please leave this book, and for that matter this profile, because I am determined to write a book about a powerful woman in an old-fashioned society, even if that is not as historically accurate. And I don't need people telling me or others that woman are somehow not equal to men, even though we are and should be!
On another note, this book DOES NOT include any explicit or sexually mature content, as I am a clean writer when it comes to that and write YA novels only so none of my books will ever be mature in that sense.

This book does have a cast list, however the people in the cast are not totally accurate to how I imagine the characters, and may not be as accurate as you imagine them, therefore I advise you to view the cover and trailer to your own discretion and not automatically conclude that this is how the characters look like.
Lastly, this book is a retelling. A mix of two retellings actually. Red Riding Hood and The Queen of Hearts.

Here is a list of words and phrases invented by me that you may hear in this book, and are valuable to your knowledge. They will be added as the book progresses.
Lily - A passive aggressive term used to call a woman fragile and pretty, but not in a respectful way.
Gorger - A disrespectful way to call a person that is poor or without a home
Lartins - The southern rebel group originally started by Hertauos Lartin
Red - The surname of the royal family, also used as a compliment when telling someone they are intelligent or beautiful, recently started turning into a slur
Crimson - A shade of red in our world, but in this world, a mythical flower said to possess the power of the entire kingdom, and able to heal, kill, or bring back any person in the world. Because of this, sometimes used as a term for blood.
Here is the synopsis for the book:
