(N) we had a stable home it was happy and safe until our father had a drinking problem, our mother had cancer one night my father was drunk driving her home for the night and we never saw them after because they both died in the car accident

(N) I was fourteen jessie was five at the time it all happened we had no family to contact because we never met them so i had no job I couldn't pay for things so I sold them and we were living in a tent after the house went for sale
(A) so four years you were homeless
(N) yes I'm eighteen now my little sis is important to me being the only family I have left I worry about her safety
(K) will protect you two our friend is a lawyer he will help us through the adoption so that you girls can have us as your dad's
