tini turned around swiftly the moment she heard my voice. her eyes was filled with hope, but also hurt.
castillo pulled his gun out and forcefully wrapped his arm around her waist from behind as she gasped.
he aimed the gun for her head.
"put it down, castillo," denver said as we all aimed our guns at him and his men.
"i wonder what will happen once i blow this pretty head up," castillo smirked and tini practically forgot how to breathe.
castillo signalled for one of his men to come over. the guy he called took out a swiss army knife.
he flipped one out, bringing it up to tini's cheek slowly.
"don't you fucking dare-" castillo cut me off.
"don't you dare or i blow her head off her neck," he spat at me, gripping tightly onto tini's stomach, standing behind her as he used her as somewhat of a human shield.
the guy scratched along tini's cheekbone slowly with the knife and she let out a scream. my grip onto my gun tightened.
castillo picked her up slightly, walking backwards with his left arms gripping onto her tightly.
we inched in on him slowly as he kept walking backwards, going up the stairs slowly.

"let's dance, shall we?" castillo smirked as he started moving his feet, moving tini with him as she gasped for air.
she whimpered when he gripped under her rib slightly.
"oops, sorry, sorry," he said. "looks like it still hurts from yesterday huh?" he asked her and chuckled.
"what the hell did you do?" joel groaned through gritted teeth.
"i may or may not have had one of my men to hurt her a little, not too bad though," castillo said.
"put me down," tini whimpered softly as he put more pressure onto her wound.
i saw blood staining the white dress they put her in. i flinch slightly as i heard her whimpers.
"that's enough, let her go!" i yelled but castillo just laughed.
i threw my gun onto the floor. denver widened his eyes at me.
"you can take me, but just let her go," i pleaded slightly.
"sure, but taking you isn't quite, let's see hm, what's the word, ah, exciting," castillo said.
"well you didn't have to hurt the girl," christopher said.
"how am i sure that if i let her go you won't kill anyone?" castillo asked.
"how are we sure you won't kill anyone?" denver retorted.
"fine, here," he let go of tini suddenly causing her to stumble slightly, gripping under her right rib.
i reached my hand out for her and she took it as i quickly pulled her closer to me.
"leave. now." castillo said, sternly.
i picked up my gun and we walked away, the boys still keeping guard.
we reached one of the hallways leading to the exit, and when i finally turned my head away from castillo and his men, they opened fire.
tini let out a small scream and i held onto her tightly. we fired back in defense and hit a couple of his men.
castillo straight aimed for tini and i turned towards her, using my body as a shield. i felt the bullet hit my back, but thankfully i was wearing a vest.
tini fell back and i fell onto her, using my hand to support myself so i don't put too much pressure on her.
"you okay?" i asked out of breath and she nodded, breathing heavily.
i rolled over, leaning on my side with my left arm under tini's head.
"close your eyes," i whispered to her and used my left hand to cover her eyes.
i couldn't let her see this side of me. i couldn't let her see me kill.
i picked up my gun and shot at castillo multiple times until i was sure he was lifeless on the ground.
